I love this hotel this is my second time here, always felt very welcome and the staff are very helpful and ready with many recommendations and what and where to go and do in the city. Initially was staying 3 days asked for an extension, no problem Mr Paul and Ms Michaela Manager were generous to offer an upgrade and easily arranged. Front desk and concierge Marius & Florin where always there to help any time I needed a taxi or reservations for any restaurant. Loved the Breakfast and view.
all reviews » The hotel is chique, very comfortable with tasteful design, very nice and good service and value for money. The location is excellent, in the very centre of Bucharest. We also enjoyed the view from the bar and restaurant at the top floor of the hotel. Definitely a hotel to recommend and come back to!. Everything was really good we did expected more ! We traveled by car and had tight schedule, staff was extremely nice and packed for us breakfast so we can eat it in car. Parking is free and just in one meter from the main door, but i recommend to book it bcs there are just a few place. The hotel is only 30m from Univ. Square, unfortunately lots of one way streets makes its access via car less easy. All facilities are modern and very well designed. Clean and well maintained. The bar has a balcony with magnificent views (also a few rooms on the superior floors). Very good location - in the center of the city, panoramic view on the city from the room and from the restaurant, good breakfast. Personal is polite and helpful. Hotel have pubic parking in front of it and very large secured underground parking in 30 meters away. Staff were very accommodating, because things were slow when I checked in they gave me a free upgrade. Always available to give a recommendation on place to see or things to do. Designer hotel is nice, but quality of interior is not so good. Parking maybe a problem if you do not inform hotel staff in advance. Their parking spaces are limited. Charged for cup of tea in room, breakfast staff unwelcoming. the towels were clean but looked very old. It's a boutique hotel. You won't get a north american elevator. The breakfast needs to have bigger variety. the only thing i didn´t like was the coffee for the breakfast....this can be change very quickly :). I had mistakenly overbooked and there was no way you or the hotel would give me a refund. I had to argue very hard and with different receptionists to be allowed to have an additional afternoon in lieu. Customer service could be improved. But staff were basically friendly. In the morning some works inside hotel were disturbing the sleep, but probably was only for couple of days. The room was smelling a lot.dont know why room 802 doest smell good,everytime when I walk inside the room,i had to leave the window open for a long time. Silk Sky Bar asked us to leave at 9pm because "all the tables" are reserved for a party. This meant we had to go back to our room at 8.30 as we didn't want to go back out into the city. very poor breakfast, most of the items on the menu were finished 1 hour before the end of breakfast period. breakfast! As a four star hotel, they really need to improve their breakfast quality!. Poor breakfast, no view from our room. We had dinner at their restaurant and asked to put the charge on the room, at check out the tab did not appear on the room and the receptionist called the waiter to ask how much our tab was. Unacceptable!. There is not a real parking, you can park the car on the street in front of the hotel; the problem is that to enter and to exit is very challenging because of the savage way of parking cars. The very near underground parking (50 meters from hotel) is not free.
