We had a party organised for my husband 50 th ... It was amazing as we have booked the also the Athenee Palace suite as a surprise for him with cake ( out of this world prepared for the hotel for 18 people) and food again provided by the hotel at very good prices .. The staff was great and so helpful ... I could not fault it for anything .. We did stay here before and I can t wait for next time ... Bravo Hilton Bucharest top on my list from all the other Hilton Hotels I have stayed ... The only.

Laura gave us a long list of recommended places to visit both in Bucharest and in Brasov, including the coolest restaurant in the mountains. Gabriella actually lent her her own coat so that I would be warm enough while sight seeing! We will absolutely be returning to the Athenee Palace Hilton on our next trip to Bucharest! As an overall experience the Hilton in Bucharest was the best. Excellent location, recently renovated luxury hotel. Everything was perfect. We were very impressed by the service given by all members of staff. A big thank you to Hilton Athenee !. The staff was very helpful, especially Liliana in the reception gave us very good service. We loved the indoor pool, the spa and the steam bath. The room was fine and it was quiet even though the hotel is in the middle of the city. Very nice breakfast. Not alot of selection for breakfast; the shuttle to the airport wasn't free;. We like to sleep with fresh air, so we didn't like that the windows cannot be opened at all. Someone from the administration had to come with a key to open them for us. Thank you. the casino being shut for refurb but not being told before booking. nothing. it is my third time there and i will always stay there while the price and staff remains the same. Paying that bit more...but it is worth it !!!. One of the stuff at the front disk give me a real hard time when I was checking in,and that's because I came early in the morening ,she was really acting very nasty until the duty manager save me and solve it . We stayed at the executive floor but our room was nearly at the opposite corner of the building thats why we had no internet connection at all. It comes and goes in every 5 minutes with very low signal. In other parts of the hotel its ok. Never choose that rooms like 507 if you need internet connection. The fact that they don't offer free Wi-Fi in the room. You have to pay 15 euros per day to have access to internet, when you just want to verify your e-mails. Too expensive for what they offer. It's the first hotel I stayed in Romania that charge you for the Wi-Fi internet connection. Too bad, next time I'll choose another hotel just for this aspect. It is not a matter of money is just by choice. The only bad thing to say is that they charge extra for wifii and the cost is to expensive, specialy when the rom rates are in the upper level it shoud be included!. Due to construction works if was a little bit more difficult to access the spa facilities. nothing. The casino is closed. No free wifi!!. Vip Lounge is terrible! This is not VIP!!!. The hotel is not five star hotel. Paris Hilton going to cry when she her about it.
