The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Breakfasts were delicious and having a laptop available included in the hotel room price was very convenient. Bathrooms were a nice size with a heated floor. Location of the BandB was great and easy access to transportation and shopping. We would definitely stay here again. The staff was exceptionally accomodating and friendly. We felt that we were treated like family rather than guests. The staff were young, energetic, polite and knowledgable about Poland and Warsaw. It was a very unique place to stay, fresh breakfast, and centrally located ... easy walking distance to any place we wanted to go.

Breakfast: all guests crammed at one big table, elbow to elbow. No privacy at all. Sometimes no free seats available, had to wait for other guests to finish their breakfast. 2. The room was not cleaned during 5-night stay!!!!!! 3. Some staff members really could have better manners, esp. When talking Polish behind our backs (but I do understand Polish.....). The heating and sink was not working and they made no effort to sort the problem out.They could of at least arranged another hotel for us. For a company that has been in business for 6 years I am shocked at their level of service. In the end I did not pay for our stay. People do not use this company.

As is the case with the odd, old and new cities such as Warsaw, they usually require a good tour guide. It is a pleasure for me to reveal some of Warsaw’s secrets to you, especially during breakfasts. I am happy to give good advice, whether it is about how to avoid over-charging taxi drivers or where to find the best Żurek (a Polish soup) in the city.
The breakfasts I serve comprise everything I adore eating myself: white and yellow cheeses, village eggs, plum jam prepared by my mother (really!), along with dark berry, raspberry and cherry jams. There are also tomatoes aplenty, a few types of exquisite ecological Polish bread, juices, yogurts and the best cappuccino in town.

Information about the area

We are located in the city centre of Warsaw on 14 Smolna Street.
"Boutique Bed & Breakfast" is perfectly located in the centre of Warsaw allowing you to explore Warsaw on foot. The best museums and art galleries are just a couple of hundred feet from our doorstep. Within a 10-15 minute walk you will get to Warsaw's commercial centre, full of department stores and boutiques, where you can buy the latest fashion and jewellery. The Old Town is only a brisk walk down the street Nowy Swiat. Warsaw's hippest street, Foksal, is one block away and houses a brewery, restaurants, cafes and clubs. There is a wide range of transportation you can take to the places of interest. Trams and buses are located two minutes down the street from us, while a taxi stand is just around the corner. We are close to the de Gaulle roundabout, the famous street Aleje Jerozolimskie and the Nowy Swiat Street.

1. Bathroom: Impeccably clean and operational, with hot running water, and fully equipped with accessories, such as a hair dryer. Not to mention fresh sets of toiletries, towels and toilet paper.

2. Bed: Wide, comfortable, traditional, equipped with a new spine-healthy mattress, wool or cotton duvet, and cotton bed sheets. Pillows do not contain natural feather, in order to eliminate possible sources of allergies.

3. Floors: Made of natural wood, covered with ecological floor polish, without a carpet. However, the King Apartment contains a new light-coloured set of woollen floor tapestry.

Travelling information

From Warsaw Central Railway Station (Warszawa Centralna), you can take tram No. 7, 8, 9, 21, 22, or 24 (destination Praga or Goclawek) and get off at Muzeum Narodowe.

From the airport, you can take bus No. 175 and get off at Foskal.
