The hotel staff from the concierge,dining and bell service were exceptional, I commend Hotel Celeste for hiring good quality employyees, to name a few,Dada and Jiggs, they were attentive to all our needs and made our stay in Makati a memorable one. We definitely will come back to Hotel Celeste when we go back to the Philippines. I will highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
all reviews » The rooms were excellent. The bed was so comfortable, and the bathroom was great. The staff was amazing: smart, friendly, and kind. Our 22 yr. old waitress was incredible! The guys at Reception were very attentive. The roof deck was nice. There was water for refill on the roof deck which was very handy and convenient. The customer service is excellent. Room is big and comfortable. However, i can heard the baby crying from my next door neighbor. Also the room I was staying is right beside the main street; it was kind of noisy during the busy day. I would stay here if i have another business trip to Philippines. Hotel staff are incredibly friendly and accomodating. Accomodations are clean, neat and comfortable. It's a small hotel with all the amenities plus the personal touches of a boutique hotel. The hotel is located just across from a large high-end mall with great outdoor space and full of eateries. My husband and I were impressed by your courteous, efficient and professional staff. The place was clean, very presentable and with just the right amenities for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Also, good value breakfast served in pleasant surroundings. The Hotel Celeste was a nice boutique hotel in a great location. The hotel offered a good selection for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My husband and I stayed there on our honeymoon, and we would definitely go back. This is a quality boutique hotel with great personal service. Comfortable beds. Lovely toiletries. The free foot massage each day was wonderful! Individually decorated rooms, not like the standard impersonal decor of most hotels. I have stayed at the Celeste several times. The staff, the location and the general ambience are what I like. Staff were extremely friendly. Convenient location closed to malls. During our first few days, we had to keep calling the housekeeping to replenish cofee, cream, sugar, toilet paper, and towels after they cleaned the room. No gym at all. It would have been nice to have even a small one. And of course, no pool, but I didn't expect one. The menu in the restaurant is extremely limited but I was able to find something that I could eat, and it was prepared well. Most of the rooms don't have a view, and there's no exercise room or pool. Too many lights and not knowing where the switches were to turn them off/on. Also, as in many Filipino hotels, the toilet paper is hard to reach behind your back!. Cant mention anything. A reliable Internet connection is an essential for me. Unfortunately this was not the case on this visit and I will now look elsewhere in Makati. The hotel, while not five star price, is not cheap. The Internet should work. The music in the lobby was playing the same song over and over for 3 days. I would recommend setting up a large play list on an I-pod and let that run all week. Nothing. Difficult to park. Nothing. Final price. This hotel needs to be refurbished. Breakfast is terrible. Rooms are very noisy, can't sleep because of the street noise.
