A very nice and comfortable room. Breakfast buffet was wonderful with a variety of things to meet anyone's tastes. Brewed coffee was a nice touch. Our room had a view of the ocean and that was nice to wake up to. It was a short walk to Ocean Park and also the sea walk via an overhead pedestrian way... The bathroom was nicely appointed and everything worked properly. Next time I need to go to Manila, I'll book there again!.
all reviews » Like the spacious room and the location which is very accessible to star city, ocean park, U.S. embassy, MOA, etc. if you wanna eat, you'll just have to go downstairs and everything is there like the yellow cab, j.co, pancake house, seven eleven, burger king etc. most of all church is just around the corner. Staffs were very accommodating. Hoping to be back next yr for our 3rd vacay. We arrived early and our room was still being cleaned the staff were so lovely the looked after our luggage so we could go sight seeing until our room was ready, Well breakfast is a feast to see and included in the price and the waitress were so pretty and couldnt do enough for you. I would definitaly come back to this resort on my next trip.Gary James , Queensland , Australia. the service that they provided us was excellent, also the availability of having airport shuttle,also checking the taxi whenever we need it was something that was good and also having a complimentary breakfast buffet was also very good in the hotel.Would love to stay again at Bayview Hotel very soon whenever we are in manila. The location is just okay and easy to locate. The cleaner is so initiative to clean our room even though we didn't ask for it, our room is so spotlessly clean. So far our stay at Bayview Park Hotel Manila is great! We like our stay here with my kids. The proximity of the hotel to the US Embassy is what I like most. This was the principal reason why we opted to stay at Bayview. After a good night rest, we felt so refreshed when we went for interview. God is good. We all got our VISA. I feel that the staff were the ones who made my stay very enjoyable. from the security outside to the housekeeping crew, they all were so very nice and helpful. they always had A smile and great attitude. The food, friendly staff (concierge/ front office / housekeeping/ f & b @ the restaurant) and room accommodation were excellent! I would definitely come back again as well as recommend the place :). Great location, directly across from the us embassy. My appt was at the VA clinic at 1501 Roxas, and the drive less than 10 minutes. The hotel is older, but appears to have been well maintained. i like the Hotel the staff is verry friendly there and i have a nice stay there with a good and clean Room i will be back there soon and i never have too wait for my Brekfast there. Great value for the money, excellent location right across the street from the US Embassy, complimentary breakfast, reasonably priced WiFi, friendly staff, Starbucks right next door. i like that it was very accessible and convenient.. theres a coffee shop below and a seven11nearby and it was easy to get a cab..budget-friendly and clean.. love the ocean view!. close to American Embassy and the Philippine Immigration, also short walk from Robinson's Mal and short taxi ride to Asia Mal (200 peso max) and a few Aussie and other bars. Coinvenient. Eay to schedule rooms. I uually travel nwith my family, 4 people total, and we have stayed in the Bayview Park-Manila several times over the lat 5 years. convienently located near convience store and other eateries...and Rizal park..breakfast buffet was great! love the pineapple juice and orange juice self serve.. Nice hotel. Nice situation. All would be wonderful if free wifi available in room. Check in and check out very efficient, staff very professional. Good and safe location at Manila. While the view of the sea walk and the ocean was quite nice, the multitude of tiny air bubbles in the window tinting made it impossible to photograph this beautiful view. The control switches on the thermostat in the room was somewhat difficult to operate.... one needs tiny but strong fingers to move the tiny tabs barely sticking out of the unit. Minor issues, both....really. I didn't like what happened when one of your front office officer gave us an uncleaned room. I was so scared that i went out right away thinkin that it's still occupied. So we've waited for it to be clean up for 2hours though they offered another room but i preferred that one. And i perfectly understand coz she's just new and she apologize and gave us a 48 hrs room wifi access. Keep it up Joyz you'll be better soon. Travellers be ware there is a man with a horse and cart offering cheap rides to 4 places and u end up at a shooting range where they say cost 50 peso well it cost me 10,000 peso and nearly a night in jail so be wary just walk take no offers of rides. the water temp in the shower would always fluxuate from hot to cold. I was in room 512. One reservations officer gave me a useless and far-out answer regarding my prior inquiries thru email and not even bothered to reply back after 3 days. Still, I was happy that her fellow reservation officers corrected the problem and everything went fine from the check in until the check out period. The hotel is old; quality of the rooms can vary between floors. Water pressure and temperature sometimes inadequate. Air conditioning on one of the rooms we stayed in was dysfunctional. The neighborhood of the hotel is dangerous for foreigners but that can be said for much of Manila. Stoped 1 night ok, booked again for two nights for 5 days later asked and was telled it would the same price, got back there no booking, but got a room, when I checked out, a little late for my flight I was charged 1000+ peso more than when I first booked. just payed as I was late. Nothing that I would complain about. We were alo there during the floods of Augut, 2012, which the hotel did their very best to overcome. I would like to see more of a selection at the breakfast buffet maybe one or two more entrees to select from..other than that it was very good.. To pay for wifi connection. A swimmingpool is only for children. it is around 5x5 meters :-). there is no seating area in the lobby of the hotel. and there is no free WIFI. Unnecessary chatting of personnel at buffet area led to inattentiveness to request. I didnt find anything that I was not satisfied with,. some staff in the reception should have friendly manner as they should be smiling while talking to the client,. Initial reservation was for free internet which was charged at 320 php per day. Asked for room with tub and had to change rooms to get it. The breakfast was of ittle change and and eggs usually runny. Pool hours ended at 5 PM which is very inconvenient to guests. Wifi in the room did not always work. The scrambled eggs were too watery. room we stayed need to be updated looks too old for our liking.need to have a bit of modern twist. swimming pool is very small and closes early. Bayview only if you are lucky; no chance to change room. Nothing worth mentioning. Internet are not free and very slow as I cannot upload some photo as problem with ISP so better find another hotel if you need high speed low as 3Mpbs ! as average 900Kpbs download !. Their towels, should be more whiter , not grayiest white . The lobby is not impressive and needs to increase the space of the restaurant as it is very crowded. The breakfast menu is also somewhat limited. Wifi is very expensive,. Small bathtub in Deluxe Room. WiFi internet the speed up and down as often low as dial up modem not ADSL so call the reception and fix it up as fast as 3Mpbs not bad for inroom video conference. bayview is in the minority of hotels that does not have free wifi. When we open the fridge there are cockroaches running. I don't like having to sign guess in after 11. non at all. Hotel would not allow my food in their restaurant to be billed to my room for payment upon check-out despite the fact they already possessed my CC#. No spa, no night club. Rooms are tired, decor is in need of refurbushment but still comfortable. Restaurant was too small for the number of guests.
