I particularly found the staff very friendly and helpful. Sceptic that I am, being a well seasoned traveller, I put this to being on display for a tip. However, I came to the conclusion that could not be the case. there was sincerity. So, I conclude that this hotel must pay their staff well, and recruit for the best people.. My hat goes off to them. Best Western Hotel La Corona Manila located at best place and accessible to all area. Best friendly staff from security, reception, housekeeping and F&B.. Breakfast super excellent..recommended to all person who like to travel in Philippines..

The staff are incredibly pleasant and helpful...well equipped good sized rooms , excelent breakfast ...at a very reasonable price , in the heart of Ermita ... Perfect !. I was upgraded bcos the hotel was full, hence my opinion may be biased. Liked the continental breakfast, cleanliness, shower, plenty of hot water. Their toiletries are good quality. Wifi. The staff were very friendly and attentive. they made us feel special. The hotel was clean. The buffet breakfast was very good. We enjoyed the evening meals in the restaurant. My wife and I really appreciated the professionalism and positive attitude of ALL the staff. The resto was nice, clean and the food was very good. All services were excellent!. I have been using this hotel for many years. I stay hear yearly. They are very friendly and flexible...their free breakfast buffet is superb... Clean rooms and bathrooms. Ermita location is fairly central. Breakfast was included and appreciated. In-room massage for 600 php ($15). Good overall quality. Especially the suites offer very decent room quality. Friendly and efficient staff. Decent breakfast. The elevator is back in service and new. It is a decent hotel and the staff are very nice and friendly. Very friendly staff, 24 hrs per day. Too many old white men visiting for sex tourism purposes. Did not see this at other Filipino hotels, but probably exists throughout Manila. Some street noise. No pool. Wireless is not the best in the rooms all the time. its red zone many bimps around they start inviting to check the girls its not safe to walk alone at night. The hotel needs to advertise its location better, I had to ask 5 taxi drivers if they knew it 4 didn't and the 5th driver got lost. Also some of the cleaning staff need to respect the guests, especially if a foreigner, like me is staying with his Filipino wife. I can't think of anything I didn't like. I always stay here when I am in Manila-- at least once per year. I resereved a second floof room but when I got there,i was put on 3rd floor,,. The Price on letsbookhotel.com was without 25% on taxes, which is written in small underneath - all prices should be complete -. internet connection automatically gone every 20 mins. couldn't find anything wrong with our stay. we had the time of our life. Too expensive for what it had to offer. No pools or gym. A couple young front desk girls/women are terrible. They only smile, using their smile thinking they can charm people but they don't answer your questions or your needs. -small elevator - the location is not safe. staff,server in hotel restaurant was very poor,we were only ones in restaurant but server/waiter to busy watching tv.i was not very happy about that. Girl at the reception at night wasn't interested in helping us with the travel issues due to the typhoon arriving Our room was very dark with a window looking on a few sq meters with only a/c devices a/c was quite loud. Internet in the room was not stable. Stayed on 6th floor lift only went to 5th. our room had only a small window.. Tooo far (7km) from airport. Complicated to find out. You should tell taxi driver "Ermita church" instead of hotel name. Very noisy all night in and outside hotel, not a very good location (a few basic restaurants and a few malls).
