The man on the front desk was really kind and helpful. We left our bag
with him while we went up Machu Picchu. He made us a packed lunch (box
lunch) and gave us lots of handy tips. The room was fine - nothing fancy
but the shower was great and the bed was comfy. Everything was clean and
functioning. The location is great for the train and the bus up to Machu
Picchu. The thundering River runs right in front of it which is great
because the noise of the water drowns out any post-Inca trail euphor. all reviews »
Very nice room with large window. The sound of the powerful rushing
river put you to sleep quickly. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
I stayed 3 nights while my daughter was hiking the Inca trail and really
enjoyed Aguas Caliente. I felt very safe and at home there .

The woman, who seems to be the owner, is very helpful and explains everything you need to know at checkin. The other staff are less helpful. Beds and pillows are comfortable.

The room was not so well equipped.
It was a very noisy hotel. There were lots of sounds from outside and each of the room doors made a lot of noise as you closed them. We didn't sleep very well because of it. Also, no wifi in the rooms.
This is a sorry hotel. The staff and service was indifferent. The
breakfast was mediocre and inadequate. The affiliated restaurant next
door charged an undisclosed 20% service charge, unheard of anywhere else
in Peru, and wholly unjustified.
