- a VERY impressive reception area - friendly and helpful staff - excellent location: 2 metro stops from Central Station, 3 minutes' walk from the metro - 2 supermarkets very close - beautiful building - nice apartment-style rooms with common kitchen and lovely sitting-room. It was very nice :) I stayed in Paris and Stockholm couple of days ago and it was way more expensive and in one case it was even worst place. The staff were more than helpful and the location is very good. Just 3 metro stops from city centre! I recommend it :).

It's well communicated with a metro station at 20 metres. I'd repeat the same place. Cheapest place in Oslo. Our room had shared bathroom with 4 other rooms. We also had shared kitchen which had micro-oven and fridge and cutlery. It would be excellent if you are a group of 10 people. 5 small rooms+two storeys for common use. The staff was very friendly all the time, and it was very easy to get there. Plenty of super markets close by, as well as the Munch museum. 10-15 minute walk to the Central Station. Overall: b+. the room had a kitchen and two bathrooms. very clean rooms. The bathroom had underfloor heating, which made it very comfortable to take a shower. Two bathrooms. The rooms were not properly signed. check in staff is not so nice. The mattress was a little bit austere. Room was small, half of the room had no use, as the ceiling was tilted and it was suitable only for luggage holding. The room had only a small bedside and two beds. Not as close to city centre as I expected (20 minutes walking). Charges for sheets (but it happens on Swede, Norway and Denmark, it's policy) and the kitchen had nothing for cooking, otherwise a great place!. the room was a little bit small. There are some easy damages in the kitchen and bathroom, which made it hard to use it properly. The shared facilities could be more clean. Check-in is only possible from 3pm, which is quite late. Nice look but nothing more. No dishes. I had ask for key to lock my room - I did not recive it at reception on arrival. Lack of wardrobe and hangers in room, even in apartment just few of them. -locks are the same for all the rooms (so don't leave expensive stuff in your room while you're visiting around) -kitchen was poor, no plates, forks, cooker didn't work (just oven) -no internet included in the price (extra 6 euros for the hole stay). Walls very thin. The "hostel" is made up of many apartments, each with 3 rooms and a kitchen/living room so there isn't much privacy. It was not advertised properly... I would not have gone for this one had I know that shared bathroom means we have to share an apartment with complete strangers!!! Should have been advertised like this: Twin room to share in apartment! We did not have any privacy at all!. Several people tried to get into my room in the middle of the night. The room is the smallest one I`ve ever see. I think it about 6 m2 for 2 persons. You shold buy bed linen even if you take yours. Outrageously expensive breakfast and WiFi. Much cheaper alternatives available locally. In general Oslo is a very expensive city!. -no dishes -bed creaks by every motion. It was not very temptnig to use the shower, a bit dirty. not so clean. They never cleaned the Room. Average hotel,very close to town centre.The personnel was quite rude and unpolite.If you don't pay 2.000 nok deposit they don't check you in (nowhere on the web written 2000 nok deposit needed).Bedroom almost in the same space with kitchen and bathroom,you can't sleep well if your roommates want to eat or watch TV.Extending your stay by an hour or more costs 100 NOK/hour. Walls are thin so you can hear your neighbours quite well... The room that was on the picture in our reservation was not at all what we were offered - we had to switch rooms many times to finnaly get the twin room without the double-level beds!!, Although we specified before the depature that we need a double bed or at least twin so we can put the beds together. The night staff was absolutelly unqualified. The interrior is very simple, no pictures on the walls, very small rooms. I did not like sharing an apartment - noisy students in very close proximity ( on our first visit,) Creeky bunk beds. The staff were very bad. Had a big issue with the linen. It was specified that we should pay additionally, so that is why we brought our own (we were on a budget). The person on reception didn't allow us to use our and we had to pay for linen anyway. He was very rude as well. You had to pay more for the linen... The apartment is small and dirty... Had to pay for sheets?? $36. for a hamburger platter?? Wi Fi $12.??. You have to pay additionally for towels and bedclothes. It was not said during booking. The pictures was different than the place where I was sleeping. The pictures were beutiful but room totally different. The place was completely different from the nice pictures on the website, dark, old and very unpleasant. It is a bit odd to rent an appartment with a kitchen without any forks on knives... and to make people share a bathroom without any lock. I really enjoyed all of the places I stayed in during my trip in Norway except for this one! It really does not worth the price. The room in the apartment was VERY small. There was no bedside table, and no place to put your luggage,. It was a not good stay in this Hostel. All of kind of normal things in a hostel, like WiFi, kitchen, lean clothes, you have to pay more. So your stay should double if you want this normal things. The staff said that was normal this things, you pay more for WiFi and etc.The first room that we were had a broken kitchen, and this was normal too, like the staff said. Staffs in reception never smiled to me like owing money to them! Everything include bed linen and Wiki need extra fee which is not cheap. Room is dirty even some blood on the bed and pilow. This is a absolutly ridiculous so-called hostel. Dont go there only if you wanna experience some terrible things!. We were not expecting to share the apartment as well as we were not expecting to have an extra expense with the linen. These kind of information should be made very clear, not written in barely seen small grey letters. Although there was a kitchen facility in the apartment there was no equipment at all (forks, knives, pans, pots, plates, nothing...) so what's the point on having a kitchen if you can not use it? Overall, the stay was 'ok' but I wouldn't come back or recommend to anyone. - You have to pay extra for bedlinen, which is not clearly advertised - Rooms are so small you can barely fit your backpack in it - the "shared kitchen & bathroom" is not like a normal shared kitchen, you basically share an apartment with two strangers and the bedroom doors don't lock - when you count all the extra costs, you can just book a normal hotel room - staff isn't very friendly. The room hasn't heating installation and it is very small. Everything. You have to paid everything in the hostel. You just paid the price of a bed. When you arrived, even you have bring your own bed sheet, they still charged you 50 nok. And you have to pay 150 nok everyday to borrow the cooking stuff or even a kettle. Their kitchen is just a decoration, not for you to cook. Also, there is lack of security since the key card can open any doors of the hostel. The location The cleanliness of the apartment The staff. Not clean in the room. On the kitchen there are nothing! No spoons, plates. Nothing! Who needs the kitchen without anything? In the room was dirty. On the bed was parts of a bread and smelled very bad!!!!.
