It was a little further from town centre than we were wanting as we did not have a car. Could have booked something right in town for same price.

The staff were very friendly, easy & willing to help with any need. We had a great time, and very close to town (as long as you don't mind a bit of a hill). The view from the room was also amazing!

The view was spectacular and we were only minutes from 'town'

The tiled bathroom floor was VERY cold and I am used to underfloor heating, also the lighting in the bathroom was very dim, difficult to put makeup on

Location, location! The 1- and 2-bedroom apartments have fabulous views across Lake Wakitipu to the mountains, and the apartments are 10-15 minutes walk into central Queenstown. The local ski fields are 45-60 minutes drive away. This was our third stay in a 1-bedroom apartment here for ski-ing, and we've always been happy with it. Cosy apartment: warm, clean; comfortable sitting room, well-fitted bathroom with separate shower and bath - great for after a day's ski-ing, kitchen fitted out to allow self-catering.

Layout: not a dislike, a comment; the 1-bedroom apartment is in fact one large room of sitting room and bedroom with a bi-fold partition. We were happy with the arrangement.

The connecting door between the living area and the bedroom didnt close properly or stay closed. But honestly not a big deal as left it open all the time pretty much.

The views are stunning through the lovely clean windows. Really clean and warm with a yummy duvet. Really close to town, such an easy walk.

Our bed...it was 2 singles put together which was really uncomfortable as we love our cuddles and you automatically sink into the middle.

The hotel is extremely clean and very nice. The floor heating is great and the room has many facilities to cook. The location is good, but is 15 min walk from the center.

Fabulous lake and mountain views. Close to the centre of Queenstown (600 metre walk) but not in it, so very quiet. Very comfortable, private and well appointed suite. Most comfortable bed (king-size) we've had in holiday accommodation.

The position of the Highview Apartments is close to the city centre. The bed is very comfortable.

There were no instructions on how to get the radio and the air con going. Took a while to work out how to turn the showe on. The water from the shower sprays further than the glass screen.

Excellent view from the room (top floor two bedroom ) Reasonably convenient location .

Not very well maintained. Facilities seems dated and some dysfunctional. No hot water on one day and some lights in the room not working. Wall decoration dropped during our stay. Wifi very weak and only allow for one login at a time.

Very small room for money. Good 15 min (fast) walk to town. Not very good use of space in rooms. Kitchen area but no sink. No shelves in wardrobe, just large hanging space with 5 hangars!

Very close to town, yet off the main road enough that is was brilliantly quiet.

The floor was filthy and came complete with kit kats. Holes in the sheets. Freezing cold room, we measured the average temp in the room as 13 degrees (on our diabetic meter) well below the minimum requirement. Tv remote did not work.
