we thoroughly enjoyed the comfort a loved the friendliness of staff during our stay. It was well located away from the busy main street yet so convinient as this was within walking distance from everything. it was nice and relaxing to come back to a nice clean room and be able to pop in to the spa. The location was really good, close to shops and wharf - an easy walk, but away from the main pedestrian traffic. The bathroom looked renovated, but some of the other facilities were a little aged. It was good for the price.

We managed to get a cheaper breakfast meal in the main town which was abit unfortunate. The walls between rooms are thin. I could hear everything the men next door were discussing, from the volume in their hair to how young they could pass for at the bar. That we ONLY had a couple of nights there!Inconsiderate 'neighbours'... which obviously has nothing to do with the hotel!. The walk home late at night was very dark. Hotel could do with more lights outside entrance into car park. Pay for Internet. Did not get a chance to use your very inviting spa pool. Nothing. No sky TV in rooms. Limited TV coverage in room Breakfast finishing at 9.00am. No sky tv no soapdish in shower and the milk was off. zero. no soap or shampoos in room. bit more variety of drinks etc milo. only one towel per bed. need more with spa. Had to report electrical problem twice. No air conditioning and wooden floors allowing footsteps etc to be heard from level above. Not enough time. the weather. Noisy guests until late night - they need to understand there are other guests in the next room. Housekeeping staff walking in on me in the shower. They knocked but entered straight after not enough time to say anything. Not acceptable!. Having to pay for internet Rooms were a bit dated and smelt a bit damp. The bed was way too soft. The spa pool didn't get very hot. The freezer part of the mini fridge didn't work well. No sky tv...that sucked! WE HAD TO CHECK OUT EARLY OWING TO UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES...WE HAD BOOKED A 3 NIGHT STAY BUT HAD TO LEAVE EARLY, WE STILL GOT CHARGED A 20%FEE ON THE 3RD NIGHT..THE FIJIAN LADY AT RECEPTION WAS NOT HELPFUL ,SHE SAID BECAUSE WE HAD BOOKED THROUGH BOOKING DOT COM WE HAD TO GO BACK TO THEM...I DIDNT HAVE THE COMPUTER SKILLS TO DO THIS AND SHE DIDNT OFFER TO HELP ME SI I THOUGHT THAT WAS NOT HELPFUL TO US..WONT BE STAYING THERE AGAIN!. call me to discuss Q5 yes but not to paihia tanoa hotel.
