The motel is in a very pleasant setting, and that combined with the helpfulness of the owners makes for a great few days of relaxation. Just a pity that a self- centered group of car enthusiasts ensured that other guests, especially in the individual rooms, got little sleep, until they- the enthusiasts - decided to go to bed!!!. Great location and beautiful surroundings. Loved the options that were available - you can stay on a budget or pay extra for an executive suite, which is what we did. The room was modern and decorated very well. The hosts were extremely kind and accommodating. This really was a very enjoyable and faultless stay.
all reviews » Loved the hospitality of the staff, While attending a function one of the staff members offered to drop us into town for the wedding which we were to attend. the facilities were always clean and tidy. the scenery was also great. My husband and I enjoyed our time there and found it to be very relaxing. Everything was perfect. You can see that the owners put a lot of effort into creating a wonderful oasis there and decorated it in a really nice way. They are really good hosts and lovely people who can always help. And they keep this place spotlessly clean!. I liked the family atmosphere of the motel and the closeness of the cabins to the kitchen facilities and barbecue area, spa and swimming pool. The executive rooms were very nice and located right beside the woods. Fantastic location!! Beautiful surroundings...felt like total seclusion in the bush, yet was super close to township! Wendy and the staff were just lovely, really friendly and helpful!!:-). The setting. The shared kitchen which was very clean and homely with plenty of good kitchen equipment. Peaceful. Nothing!. Didn't affect us at the time due to few tennants but expect it could be rather noisey with foot traffic on the wooden accessways. Double bed a bit saggy!. liked everything about Woodlands. We booked 2 rooms - 1 had a TV the other didn't but were the same price. I expected the same facilities in each room. The mattress on the bed was hard might be cause I used to a soft mattress so all good. No electric blankets. privacy on deck not good due to none solid fence. After driving for 3.5 hours, all i wanted was a hot drink. But there was no coffee, tea, sygar , milk ,cups or kettle . If they do not supply it they should let people know si they can take some with them.... Dead spiders nest in my room.
