The whole process of booking and checking went very well. The staff were very helpful and eager to ensure our stay was comfortable. The unit was clean and tidy. The cleaning team were also very helpful and helped with the operation of the washing machine. The motel was very busy but we did not hear any noise in the unit. The position of the motel meant that we were able to access all facilities in KeriKeri. Thank you.
all reviews » Loved the units - big and comfortable. The family who run it are nothing short of amazing friendly people. Nothing was too much trouble for them to do. The orchard setting is incredible and the fruit to die for. The pool setting and spa were my faves ( no one else was there lol. But met some friendly friends of the owners in the pool area . they were cool people as well. All in all - give it a go - I will be back. The room offered was an upgrade on the studio unit booked and we were impressed with the use of space and the modern facilities. We were also able (with Management permission) to take fruit (tangeloes) from trees at our unit back door. Greeting and leaving were simple and friendly. Would use thie Motel if back in the area. The Orchard Motel is a very well run and maintained family business, it was clean and had everything I needed, great location to Kerikeri and fantastic bakery across the road. The bed was so comfortable...I have stayed in Kerikeri before, overall the town has a lot to offer, I will definitely come back. The staff were very friendly & helpful with all of our questions. Question: Did you happen to find two pairs of reading glasses in either a red or gold tube (The Warehouse type)? If not it is okay, we must have them here somewhere?. I liked my stay at the Orchard Motel, the facility was clean and family orientated, the most fantastic thing was the beautiful orchard out the back door, we were able to help ourselves to the most juicy mandarines. The motel was lovely to stay in, the unit was beautifully set out and spotless. The setting was lovely also and the staff very friendly. I enjoyed my stay as the location is also excellent. Convenient location. Helpful staff. Spotlessly clean..towels changed every day. Organic orange juice every morning...pick your own oranges from the orchard. Excellent value. LOVED the orchard out the back where I picked a HUGE bag of tangelos to bring home and juice! Staff were very friendly and welcoming.. will definitely stay again. This is the fouth occasion in the last two years that we have stayed at Orchad Motel. It's Location is very central and it has always been clean and tidy. The cleanliness of the room I stayed in was top notch. I am fussy with Motels and I did not find a speck of dust, toilet/bathroom were excellent. 10/10. Great accommodation, comfortable and clean. When the motel had a number of guests it was a little difficult to park our car outside the unit closets to the reception. But nothing major. Was not able to access internet. Difficulty in operating tv. Message from Airport regarding our missing Luggage was not recognised by the Motel and associated with the fact we were waiting to receive a Bag that had been left in Melbourne. We couldn't operate the air conditioning properly. Even was set on 30 C we couldn't get any warm air from it. It might be a setting to get it set properly. The unit seems a bit old. Nothing.... Best accommodation I have used...thank you. Need a fly screen on the kitchen or a bathroom window so that you can have cross ventilation without insects. Birds woke us up very early. Thankfully we had to have an early start (-: Nothing you can do about that when you are surrounded by so many lovely trees. There was nothing to complain about great value pleasant stay. that the spa didn't work properly. TV - need a guide for dummies ! Had trouble with remotes. Real oranges on table would of been nice . potholed drive at entrance. Free internet was not the easiest to access. The bed was too hard and I didn't sleep much. Low shower pressure. Had to ask for coffee plunger. Light on outside all night made the room quite light. Nothing. No free wifi through out the day. Ash trays were not cleaned after last quests. Dishes were put away wet.
