From the moment we booked the Aalton Motel the owners were excellent. We received a thank email within couple of days of making initial booking. We were only staying in Christchurch for one night. The location is very good for the price charged. We were able to walk into City Center to look around. The studio room was very comfortable and well equipped. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Christchurch.

First impressions from the outside it looked like a retirement village. I would like to see a chain on the inside of the door for use at night - espicially for solo female travellers.
