The apartment was very large with everything we needed in it, It was fantastic that we could park our car as soon as we arrived in the city even though it was before bookin. Getting the breakfast supplies was great. As we hate driving in the city it was wonderful to be so close to where we wanted to go and also to so many shopping and eating facilities, we even had a walk to a lovely park.
all reviews » The reception staff in the evening and in the morning were extremely helpful and made our stay very pleasant. Having somewhere to park for free was fantastic in such a busy city. A real plus. When we first arrived music was playing in the room which set the tone. The breakfast packs were a great idea. Thank you. Lovely big apartment, good sized fully equiped kitchen, appreciated the food in our fridge, very handy washer and dryer in large bathroom. Good inner city location, easy walk to park and shopping. We had a fabulous young woman on reception who helped us with accommodation for the next day. Greatly appreciated. All the staff especially Kate (kitchen and bar employee) were really friendly. The locations a big plus with only short distances to all that the city has to offer. We stay at alot of places in the city and this was the best we definitely be back. Parking underneath a bonus. The apartments were close to the Civic Theatre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, and facilities great..Breakfast in the room was good but we chose to go to the restaurant which was good. Had dinner there too and it was excellent. The rooms were very roomy . Bathroom was very good . Everything worked. Washing machine and dryer in bathroom. Lounge room and small kitchen with stove separate to main room .television in loungeroom and one in main bedroom . overall an excellent stay. We were staying for two nights, I ended up in hospital on day two for nine days. The staff at the Quest really looked after my wife. Well done all. I then stayed for one night my wife was there for eleven. Nice apartment centrally located. We phoned ahead and they let us check in early. The continental breakfast in the room was included in the price. Very close to civic theatre and shops. Brilliant view of sky tower and city. We were on levels 13 and 14 and had a balcony. excellent facilities. kitchen and laundry facilities are a bonus. Good breakfast in the room. Lovely views from the balcony if you have a room on a high floor. Good position on Queen street, Parking facilities good, easy to drive to. Really enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly, plenty of food provided for breakfast. Enjoyed fresh coffee grounds to make a plunger coffee. Overall a clean and comfortable hotel and so close to everything, already booked again. We were very happy when we were advised on arrival that we we had been given a room upgrade. The room was clean and fully equipped. We were also given an extra hour to check out. Staff was very accommodating and polite. The complimentary breakfast was a lovely and unexpected surprise. The room was quite spacious with a great view and the bathroom was large with good lighting! Great value for money and will definitely book again. I liked the convenience of being just above the Aotea Centre. Within easy walking distance. I appreciated having breakfast supplied. The toilet seat didn't sit properly on the porcelain. other than that, everything else was perfect!. We didn't stay longer. Bit noisy for us as we are farmers and used to very quiet. Car park quite tight. It was nice to have a carpark provided, yet it is very tight, so be aware of this, however in saying that, it really was great to have the opportunity to leave the car at the hotel for free. the hotel is becoming quite dated, this is accpetable for the price however. The continental breakfast was just a little basic, but it was free!. gap under door to hallway lets in light and noise. The parking was our only issue, we found it quite awkward and narrow. Car parking building was VERY narrow. Noisy location but that's what you get in any downtown area. WiFi is not included and is expensive to purchase. You're better off to visit one of the many local coffee shops or pubs where it's free. Only being able to stay one night!. Wi-Fi very expensive. This service should be free of charge, as it is in most modern hotels now. Maybe bed could have been more comfy. Nothing really, but more and more hotels are providing free wifi these days. The parking is a bit hard to get around but it's ok if you have a small vehicle. Shortage of on-site secure parking. Could only park car one night out of three in the secure parking. Other two nights we parked car in the Quest entry driveway which was suggested by the staff. Parking is an issuebut not really resolvable. Noise! we had main street appartment didn't get a lot of sleep double glazing would help perhaps, but next time would ask for a back appartment. Helicopters flying city around all night. None only that our vacation ended;(. The hair dryer is quite old, and the shower tank, the hotel should notice customers that once the hot water is running out, need another 20 mins to take another shower. Otherwise, especially for a couple, it would be cold water when the second person takes shower. Another thing would be the Wifi, actually I was surperised that there was no free wifi , but $15 per 24 hours is. Ok. Overall , it's still a very good place to stay. A smell of dampness in room, but humidifier was on, I guess someone had flooded it and you were dealing with it. Wasnt bad, I turned heater on, it didn't detract much from our enjoyment of the room. I liked how the carparks were free, however, car parks are too cramped and very limited. I eventually had to park at the back of two cars on the bottom level car park, jammimg them in as there were no more car parks. I had to get up very early to move my car in the morning to ensure the owners of the two cars could get out. I therefore had to park my car out the front of the hotel entrance. Dissappointing that linen was worn and balling. Would not have expected this in this type of hotel. it was all good. Car park was tight!. Wifi is not free of charge if its free everything would have be perfect!. Furniture was a little tired. Nothing - everything was great.
