  Very characterful, but modernised riad. Offered upgraded room, which was very spacious and well appointed. Excellent location, close to Bab Bou Jaloud and Bou Inania Medersa. Tanneries an easy walk downhill along the main thoroughfare of medina. Good access to Merenid Tombs for brilliant sunset views. Upstairs terrace great for relaxing. Very good... what people say » food at restaurant and breakfast buffet. - It was my friend and my first trip to Morocco so staying in a Riad was a typical Moroccan hotel. The souks were near as was the tannery and Jewish quarter.

Very helpful with information about Fes, good recommendations on where to eat and go locally, as well as useful advice (we were in Fes during Ramadan). It is a newly refurbished very clean and hospitable place. We are very happy that we have reserved there and managed to escape the hassle of the medina.
