  A great location and it is the nearest hotel to the hotels entrance to Chichen Itza with a view to the observatory. We took a private guide for an early morning visit to the site and went around before the hoards arrived. We were pleasantly surprised by the a la carte restaurant and a good value wine list. A tip, if you come by car from the Merida Cancun expressway and are staying in the main hotel, go past the fir - Wow! What a surprise! It is such a wonderful place. Staff is super friendly, they even greeted us with a fresh towel and a refreshing glass of hibiscus water. It is right nearby the entrance to Chichen Itza, you can even see the Observatory from the lobby. We only stayed for one night because we had other places to visit but it would have been great to stay longer and just relax. They have pools and other amenities to keep you busy. Staff will go beyond their duty to make sure you feel at home.

  Easy distance from Chichen Itza. Hotel was pleasant enough as was the staff. Pool very clean and refreshing. Very convenient when traveling west and easy to find. Breakfast was good, meals ok.   I loved the location! Very beautiful place RIGHT in FRONT of one of the most beautiful cenotes !!!!! This was a very pleasant surprise. They also offer a shuttle that takes you to Chichén Itzá at 8:30 am so you can beat the other tourists and that is included in the price. They did not have a lot of people when my friends and I went and the staff ... what people say » was not the friendliest, but it was a great deal for what we paid. You will not find better. There is a very clean pool and hammocks nearby. An ecolog - Close to Chichen Itza, breakfast included in a nice price, helpful staff always smiling, feels like sleeping in the middle of the bush by night with all the exciting sounds and fireflies showing you the way home. Wifi, easy listening music and pool together with huge hammocks made this a great experience

  Villas Arqueologicas was just great! The staff was helpfull, and the pool and restaurant were both wonderful. It was quiet, had really big closets and very nice bathroom. Being just an easy walk down the road from the back entrance of Chichen Itza (the only one to use -- as it is so much more pleasant than the crowded main entrance) is absolutely ... what people say » the best! - Of course the location is perfect for a morning visit to chichen itza ! good restaurant, nicely next to the pool. It's so cool to walk to the ruins at the first hour, without queing a single minute for a ticket !

  An excellent place! Only 5 min drive to Chichen Itza, but enough to avoid nosy places with many tourists and buses. The hotel looked like a beautiful park in the jungles.
