Easy distance from Chichen Itza. Hotel was pleasant enough as was the staff. Pool very clean and refreshing. Very convenient when traveling west and easy to find. Breakfast was good, meals ok. We stayed there two nights because of logistics but this is really too long if one does not have to. Location next to the site of Chichen Itza,nice open air lobby,pool and gardens,spacious room,excellent bed which is rare in Mexico,mostly quiet(read the negatives),nice restaurant and bar serving the best margaritas!.

The Man who manages the swimming pool, à very friendly and interesting mayan person. Rooms are basic but good enough. Just 20 to 25 mins walk from Chichen Itza. Good and big room - we got better than the reserved one. The room were spacious, the staff very friendily. Close to Chichen Itza. Staff And locación. the restaurant was ok though it wasn't open all the time, so we've waited to start the dinner. The hotel is located 2 min drive from the entrance of the Chichen Itza ruins.The room is spacious with kingsize bed. Their is a swimming pool and a terrace, which is quite an advantage after exploring the ruins. Limited info (no maps) available of local things to see and do (other than Chichen Itza of course). The village of Piste,where the hotel is,is dead at night and completely lacks charm and personality. Water pressure in the shower is poor,and wild dogs roam around the hotel gardens and bark at night. Was hoping for a real, buffet style breakfast but just got some bred, jam and butter :(. Noise in the room, which was below the ac of the hotel. A noise of an airbus !. I am staying in a room above the reception and the WiFi reception is so poor! I should say, no WiFi reception at all. Just fair staff - proffesional corporate guys not a true smile. Advertised bikes do not exist. At first, they claimed us cycling was not recommended although there is a cycling track from the hotel to Chitzen Itza! Then they confessed they had no bikes. The pool is under maintaince so u can't beat The heat inside The hotel. The shower and bath in our room was totally broken, so we had to change the room to the one which was worth in terms of comfort for the same money :( Facilities were poor and even the toilet door was not opening normally... No safe box, and based on reviews it's dangerous to leave your belongings in the room. Room is dirty and dated. When we arrived the front desk had no clue that we had booked a room (done online through letsbookhotel.com) and my name was not on the reservation list. We had to wait for 10 minutes for the staff to give us a room. Staff spoke English very poorly. Facilities are dated and cleanliness could be better. Hairdryer did not work. Staffmember was spitting behind the bar! Hotel is overpriced, due to location to chichen itza.
