They helped us with ordering food and gave us directions to places around town. They even spoke English which was a plus as they could understand us and we could understand them easily. A taxi stand is right outside the hotel. It is a little pricey but convenient if you need to go anywher

  There was nothing we could complain about, we had the room on 2nd floor which has 2 bathrooms, an extra we were not expecting and for 2 girls this was heaven. Lovely details in the hotel decoration and the staff is helpful as well, assisted with luggage and kind always.   We decided very well in advance for Reina Roja for our one week stay in Playa del Carmen, and we are so glad we did. It's a very original theme and concept. We had a Junior suite and it was huge, a lot of space; a big bathroom and shower, a a nice balcony with a maniqui looking over the street. The roof top pool was a nice spot to spend some quiet hours in the afternoon after coming coming back from the - I liked Cintia and Luis. They were very very hostile and sweet. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and though there is light all around the hotel in the room you can do total darkness. Overall loved the place. Recommend it for younger couples/people.
