All staff were friendly and extremely helpful. I really wanted to experience a cooking school that is mentioned in 'Lonely Planet' and they arranged it for me. I enjoyed the food in the restaurant and did not feel out of place dining alone. The main draw for me is that this hotel is non smoking - fantastic!! There are great places to visit within a drive of Kuching and the staff arrange excellent trips with fantastic guides.

A warm welcome by the staff at the door. Zul (Bellboy) is so helpful throughout my stay. Staff are friendly. I did not have chance to try their set lunch or dinner cos my stay is only 1 day. I will do it next time. The shopping Centre are just infront of the hotel. You save on transportation cost. A very convenient, budget friendly hotel. There are pharmacy, grocery shop and shopping mall around the hotel with short walking distance. It is very near to waterfront too. Parking is provided. Although with limited parking space, hotel staffs are willing to help and arrange for you. Excellent hotel for the price more like a 4star beds really comfy across the road from the grand margarita and Hilton hotel and 10mins from the river! Really nice stay here fab shower safe ironing facilities tea and coffee! Nice places to eat near by!. 1. BEST: A non-smoking environment. 2. Polite, friendly and helpful staff. 3. Hotel's set-up is generally very comfortable warmth feeling atmosphere. 4. Enjoyed my stay and sure to be back!. The Hotel is good for family and the area is safe even walk alone at night. 7 eleven not far from the hotel and 24 hours fast food. that is the beauty of that area. Fits perfectly for those who plans to stay in Kuching but on a reasonable amount of budget. The hotel staffs are friendly and are really helpful at all times. The staff were very cordial and helpful. One can arrive with minimal belongings and buy what is needed there. Rooms were clean, a bit small for the price , staff were helpful but couldnt hold speak proper english for the malay/bumi staff. The Laksa will be good if not because of the strong aroma of curry. Wifi only in hotel lobby but still really good speed a swimming pool would really make this hotel one of my favourites whilst I have been travelling across Asia for 3months!. 1. Just the stained carpet in the room can be improve with regular shampoo. 2. Stained walls, to touch up repaint. 3. No wireless in room. The wi-fi signal range could be improved and the availability of the wi-fi password could be provided when the visitors checks in the hotel. The twin room is quite small. We have to push the beds right to the wall to give some space for prayer. Everything was great. The breakfast buffet could have been a bit better. But was good enough. the room i paid for could hardly have any walking space. No wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby. Standard room had very small window. Staff knowledge about nearest restaurant from the hotel.. Nothing. Too bad we cannot get corner room and small window...i guess facing behind road...if can get face main road room sure can see night view. The room was pretty tight. No wireless in room (but wired access was fine). A little far from action central but that was okay. the room is small. Quiet Expensive. Some rooms do not have real window, so the air is not fresh. No free wifi in rooms. dissappointed for non supply of morning paper. it is not the money that count, but for the habit of reading paper in the morning. The shower curtain had an slightly rancid oily smell. Taxis are expensive (compared to the distance travelled). Theres no smoking rooms or level. Breakfast is expensive for walk in guess. The rooms are slightly small. Sounds proof very bad. Can hear nearby room open & close door, showering, on & off switch. small. room so small. No parking. room on the street side are too noisy, especially on saturday night. Requested earplugs but not available :-(. Hotels tells there is wi-fi, but it is only in the lobby and the data transfer is very poor. There is no wifi in the room. TV channels are limited Should provide breakfast like other hotel. Space in room small Not include breakfast. Receptionist was rude.
