The hotel situate right next to the lake. We had our dinner and breakfast. The food is alright. I like the front row view of the chuzenji lake.

Nice view over lake from some rooms (not all).
The location is just opposite lake chuzenji.
The hotel staff can speak english just a little but you can still communicate with them.
The walls are thin, so having a noisy neighbour might be less than ideal.

My understanding was they could charge a high amount because there is
little in the area. However, this was way over priced. The rooms were
not even set up for us. I am sure the owners are lovely people and I
hate to bring them bad business but the place was not worth the money.
And it was the most cost effective in the area.

They did not provide kettle jug for us to boil water...toilets are smelly. Because no vending machine and already late in the night. we don't have drinking water. about 9pm i wanted to walk to restaurant to look for the person in charge to ask for water. the restaurant was closed. i will not recomend to anyone one. And will not stay here again. bad experience.
