We stayed at Le Ancore in early July after checking different offers at the Amalfi coast. Located at the main square of Seiano (part of Vico Equense), every room has a breathtaking view over the gulf of naples with the Vesuv in background. The hotel is beautifully equipped and the location is fantastic. The staff is extremely friendly and hospitable and we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended for one more night. We can highly recommend this hotel, cause it is one of a kind.

It is a great place to go if you are planning a romantic weekend or as a base for site seeing. We went to Ercoleum which was about 20 min away and also to Sorrento for a nice dinner and to see the holiday lights. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The Staff were excellent and friendly and the hotel was exceptionally clean. The rooms were beautifully decorated and had all the extras you would get in a big hotel. The breakfast was continental and large choice. Clean sheets and towels daily. The staff were fantastic, but have patience with the language unless you speak Italian. The accommodation was perfect, view, eating, and a good place if you want to experience a holiday with mai ly Italians. The hotel is located in an excellent area as an exit point to trips everywhere in the region. The staff is excellent and friendly. Everything this hotel offers is on high quality. Highly recommended. Noisy but purely because the Italians are noisy. The car horns and the loud speaking, the hotel is close to beach parking so close to traffic. The hotel front and seating next to main road and traffic, car parking for hotel quite a long way. It is a bit noisy, but....we didn't came to sleep. There was no bus service from hotel and we could have done with a car to get into Vico Euense as had to climb 221 steps to get into town daily. Nothing. Remote location from Sorrento. Difficult and time consuming to get to Sorrento with public transportation. No shopping. Few restaurants nearby. Nothing. Just perfect.
