Very nice hotel! Very clean, very helpful stuff. The lady on reception is amazingly nice. She pointed for us on the map all the best places to eat and enjoy a glass of wine. Great location, two steps from the main shopping street and sites. Funny elevator - extremely slow, but you don' t really need it except when you bring your luggage. They have parking, the driver took our car from the hotel and parked it somewhere else.
all reviews » our family stayed at Opera Relais De Charme for the second time and it was amazing as the first one. The Staff are very polite and helpful. The room is very clean and completed with all facilities that you may need. When you step out of your room you can hear classic music remembering you why you are there. looking forward for the next year!. This apartment hotel is nicely located in closest proximity to Verona’s most precious tourist attractions and tourist sites including the Arena and the Open Air Opera Festival there. Although the hotel offers no meal, it is only one step to a variety of excellent restaurants nearby. It was my birthday and we came back from being out all day to find a bottle of fizz and a note saying Happy Birthday which was very nice of them. Bright, clean. Facilities were excellent. The reception staff were very helpful. Location and clean stylish airy rooms. the reception staff were utterly delightful and charming and super helpful. A pleasure to stay. The accomodation was safe and secure too. I felt very much at home in this city. couldn't be a better location. just in the heard of the city center. few steps from the shopping streets, restaurants, Arena and the Citadella. the staff is very kind, the rooms are large and very well equipt. The front-office / reception staff (Fabiana, Camelia and Lisa) were fantastic. They demonstrate great customer service at all times - they are always friendly, courteous, efficient and helpful. excellent facilities , fittings and exciting bright decor. The Hotel’s location in the heart of very old Verona turns the access by car into a quite nasty challenge and exceeds what a car’s navigation systems provides due to predominant one-way streets and pedestrian zones all over. The hotel offers a valet and parking service which you better use. No bathtub. The parking facilities were a little laborious. Nothing. Lift was a bit slow but not really a problem. Nothing. Nothing. In room breakfast selection was uninteresting, unhealthy and inadequate. this is not a real hotel and there are some limitations. there is no elevator from the loby to the first floor. the check in is limited to 20.00. Parking was very difficult. Even with prior arrangements and a gps it was difficult. I feel that parking I general in Verona is difficult. Making parking arrangements with the staff and being very specific about your time of arrival and asking about parking is a must. Well worth it once we had resolved out parking issue. However it had nothing to do with the hotel it is just that parking in Verona is difficult. Nothing. Difficult to get there without a good map where one-way streets are marked. Perhaps it would be desirable to provide specific directions on the website. The "parking" may turn out somewhat messy, as the entrance is next to a narrow road with no space to stop the car for a couple of minutes (to un/load). Nothing to complain about at all. It's a little pricey, but amongst the best apartment hotels I've stayed in so still represents value. nothing. After spending so much money on a room, simple things were lacking. Staff informed us there were no irons available but a charge per item we wanted ironed. Also, the beds were not too comfortable. Normally, it wouldn't matter but it stands out when you spend a lot for accommodation - definitely not a deterrent against staying there though. Internet slow. no. Stairs and entrance. No place to sit in the reception. Reception on the 3rd floor. No help with luggage and staff offhanded, particularly reception which was very poor. elevator is tooooo slow who need it - should keep patience to wait it)). It was extremely difficult to find so I cannot recommend it for that reason. Narrow one way streets congested with tourists...we had to ask several times for directions.
