Booked last minute - chose as it had good reviews and a pool, and really liked it.... Very good price compared to other places that didn't look nearly so good.... &Amp; yes location a little further out, but you know that before you get there, I don't understand people complaining about the location as if the hotel has moved by the time they arrive! There is a shuttle bus, which you need to book, and bus is cheap and not far.... This hotel would in my opinion cost more than twice as much if.
all reviews » Excellent hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed stay. Very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Extremely clean and staff helpful. Good breakfast. Indoor pool available until 9pm. 3.5km to the city centre, but shuttle bus available and public bus stop directly outside the hotel. Brand new hotel, clean, comfortable and well appointed - everything you'd expect from the Crowne. 5 minute drive to the center, and free parking around the hotel. It's located in an industrial zone, but not a problem. Modern, clean, great rooms, comfortable bed. Very helpful nice staff. Easy parking. Convenient access from the motorway, but it's in a rather run down area. We didn't have time to try the pool but it looked nice. Evening walks were a waste of time as not much to see or do. very expensive compared to other Crowne Plaza hotels in Italy e.g. breakfast (very average quality and selection) with price of Euro 18 per person, extremely noisy at night with exhibition in hotel until midnight. I complained but nothing was done to reduce the noise. I could not get to sleep until after midnight and I had an important business meeting the next morning. As a new hotel, the rooms should have far better sound-proofing. Pool was close on sunday. Food and drink pricing, little further from Train/Bus station than first thought. The location, even though we knew about it. letsbookhotel.com said free wifi throughout hotel. ths is not the case. text on shuttle bus led me to believe shuttle was to airport and not city so did not use it because of this confusion. Location, is not good for tourists, the hotel is more suited to business users and conferences. Quite isolated location. Loud music from the disco which was on the ground floor till 2 a.m. Was impossible to sleep. If you drive a supercar dont go down in the garage. Your car will bottom out. Only the location is a little bit away from the center. It is eaiser to travling by car. The location was not ideal for a travel holiday rather than a business trip. The room is for men as there is no mirror except a narrow one on the closet door, and in the bathroom. The hotel is expensive for its location,in the Verona Feria and to charge 18 Euro for a continental breakfast is prohibitive..... Too far from the city centre. We ordered a taxi from the hotel to the train station and it cost us €18. We would have saved money by paying for a more expensive hotel in the centre of town. the shower didn't work good. This hotel is stuck in the middle of industrial area. If you rent a car it would be ok. If not you have to cab everywhere. Not a good walking area. We walked at least 30 minutes to find a store to buy water and munches. The "spa and fitness" was so small. Only like 1 and a half room for all of it. Bad service. Had to wait 30 minutes even tho there was 3 people there helping 1 guy. Had computer troubles from the minute i arrived. Might have just been bad luck on my part tho. No free wifi.
