The room was spacious and cool even when it was hot outside. We did not even use the air conditioning. Breakfast was very good. The proprietors were helpful and worked with our allergies. It is far enough away from all the tourists and commotion...but close to a bus stop so town travel is easy. The pool was a plus! especially after a day of walking. We will be going back for we have family nearby. There is a wonderful Gluten free pizzeria in the next town.
all reviews » We had a car and found the Horse's House reasonably easy to get to and there was plenty of secure parking. The room was a good size with a large shower in the ensuite. Breakfast was excellent and visitors have access to a large garden. The owner was helpful and speaks excellent English. Carlo knows the area well and had good suggestions on where to go. Easy access to Verona. Good location to use as a base to see surrounding cities. Well-designed room. Quiet. Clean. Simple and ample breakfast. Coffee/tea facilities in the room. Garden in the back. Lack of local/walkable shops, restaurants, etc. The bus service is poor ( only once every 40 minutes to an hour) and quite a walk. Instructions need to be provided on paper about how to get to the bus and where to get on/off. Nothing. Little small rooms. Nothing.
