We loved our stay at Lorenzini Rooms in Siena because we could glance into a little inner piece of the historical city by living in this old building, stylishly furnished flat and enjoying every day the breathtaking view of Siena from the lovely terrace. It was comfortable and clean and because we weren't lucky with the late May weather me and my couple were grateful for the heater which was provided to the room as a result we could warm up at the end of the days after the freezing weather out.
all reviews » The real Room With a View. Lorenzini Rooms is a well-managed Bed & Breakfast located in the heart old the old Siena. In the back of Palazzo de la Signoria with a view of the Mangia Tower (Torre del Mangia) and a stunning view of the Chianti region. Signora Ana, the owner, will take well care of you as will her daughter Laura. Continental Breakfast (bread, butter, marmalade and coffee) is included but they include fresh fruits and cereal. The rooms are ample and comfortable. My wife and I ha. Location is absolutely perfect. The apartment is very nice and comfortable with great view from the terrace (we had an apartment above dining room with view on big part of Siena & countryside), with direct stairs from the dining room with well equipped kitchen (alwais available to make tea etc.). Breakfast is very good with self-service. The owner is very hospitable and helpful. We would definitely stay there again. The terrace is amazing.. As the location is. But eating breakfast in complete privacy (in the hotel there were only us and another couple, which left early) in the amazing terrace which overlooks beautiful Siena was the highlight of our trip. Even in the 5 stars hotel you won't get such terrace completely for you. Excellent location barely 5 minutes walk from the main square, and in an area which didn't feel touristy. Kitchen for the use of guests which was very well equipped, and an outside shared balcony area with a beautiful view over Siena. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again. Fabulous room. Very spacious and amazing views of the Tuscan hillside. Great location near el campo. Anna and Eliza were very friendly. Eliza sat down with me and gave me some great suggestions for what to see as well as a brief history of the horse races. interesting neighborhood near sights also, great balcony and a shared kitchen area with mini fridge we could cook in. helpful owner who spoke some English. Self-help breakfast provided had many choices, although all prepackaged grocery quality. This hotel is located right in the centre which is amazing. Our room was very stylish and clean. The breakfast was lovely and we ate it out on their beautiful terrace which had lovely views of the city. Loved deck overlooking the countryside and the invitation to cook. We took advantage of both. Clean, centrally located, very cozy, owner speaks English and the coffee is good. So we loved the stay. Great location and house owner Anna is very firendly and helpful. The house is cozy and clean. There was lots of communal space and it was a short 5 minute stroll from Il Campo. The communal garden was stunning with views across Siena and out across Tuscany for miles. price. Don't expect too much from the breakfast, absolutely basic long life products (bread, cuts, muesli, milk, jam) without vegetable. Maybe the room could be brighter, also we couldn't open the window as our apartment was on the ground floor and many people were passing by just in front of our window, we kept the curtains all the time. Lack of fresh food for the breakfast. Check-in time not very flexible. The long walk from where the bus drops you off and the up the hill to the B&B. not a problem if you don't have heavy luggage. It was very noisy during the night. Other guests were not inconsiderate but because the place is so small and not soundproofed every time someone came into the building overnight I was woken up by the front door slamming and their voices. I also didnt like the fact that out private bathroom was outside the room. No plug for the tub. If it got hot (it wasn't ) there was no ac. Hard to find; should be explained better on the internet site. you need to call the owner before arrival otherwise you could posibbly end up waiting outside the door. nothing. You need to mention your arrival time as there is no reception. A bit far away from train station but it's in old town and very close to the historic central, so nothing to complain. Nothing. No bad points at all!. Our room (small double) was very noisy most of the night with people coming and going from neighbouring properties, and the street, so we didnt have a great sleep. street too steep for older clients. No one there on a regular basis.
