Location was about 100 yards from Spanish Steps, and very close to a metro stop. AlsoRooms were very comfortable and bathrooms were good sized and modern. Service was excellent, from the concierge to the 24 hour butler service in the lounge. On booking, we received an email from the concierge with a list of their favorite restaurants, descriptions and offers to book reservation. The receptionist very kind and helpful.

The service was fantastic, especially having the terrace upstairs where we could come in for a cold drink at any time to warm, friendly staff available to give us some water. The smallness of the room but that is more the problem with Romethan Hotel. too huge beds for a couple!. the lift is a bit small. The view we had from our hotel window.bed was very hard but when we complained they provided a very comfortable feather top. expensive. Hotel layout was very poor.We were given a room in the 2nd building (the View at the Spanish Steps). Each time we wanted to get to our room we had to got to reception in the main building and ask a member of staff to come and open the door in the View building. Very strange set-up and no facilities in the building like bar/cafe/gym/sauna/fitness as you would expect for the rate. . The walls ar so thin we could hear what was going on next room as if they were right next to us....Bathroom uncomfortably small.Yes.the entrance.and the room.the room is big,but I was not comfrtble.and the tv had only italien channels.I would notstay there again. We booked a doubleroom,but the receptionnist sent us to an appartment outside the hotel.The second day no warm water.The manager proposed an other hotel same category,but it wasn't.Location at station termini!But we payed the same price.Itravelled a lot in my life.Never before such a n experience!.

Travelling information

How to reach us by car:
From the main highway A1 take the city's main entrance Roma Nord(if coming from Florence) than continue until the exit 'Settebagni' in the city centre direction (Centro) for at least 10km. Continuing always straight ahead, follow the indication for 'Piazza di Spagna' (Spanish Steps). By car the only access to the city centre is from 'Lungotevere' riverside going towards 'Piazza Augusto Imperatore' and taking 'Via Vittoria'. Then turn the first street on the right, authorized up to the corner of 'Via dei Condotti'.
If coming from the main highway A1 from the southern area (from Naples) take the exit Roma SUD and continue until you reach the exit of Rome's main ring-road G.R.A. (Grande Raccordo Anulare) in the direction 'Fiumicino Airport'. Once on the GRA exit for EUR and follow the directions 'City Centre - piazza di Spagna' up to 'Lungotevere' as indicated above.
Please remember that our property is located in the pedestrian area of the historical centre. No parking is allowednear the property. You may park your car in the nearest garage 'Parksiof Villa Borghese Gardens (700mt distance); alternatively in the Garage of Piazza Mignanelli (300 mt distance) or in the parking lot of Piazza Augusto Imperatore (also 300 mt distance).
