A perfect setting for a perfect weekend in Rome. Located just north of the Borghese, the Parioli district is home to distinctive houses, embassies, parks, and restaurants. This property has been in the family for years, and is obviously well kept with elegant furnishings. Our host was very enthusiastic in orienting us to local nearby transportation, providing maps and personal guidance. all reviews » Pretty much everything. The room was very well turned out, with a lovely balcony, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The overall set-up was one of the best i've stayed in. The neighbourhood was quiet and safe, with some good restaurants within a short walking distance. For some the hotel may be a bit too far out of the city centre, but it's very close to a direct train route and frankly if you like a long amble in the morning is a walkable dista. I really like the place we lived and it's atmosphere were really impressive! There is very kind personal in the apparts, she give us all needed info about city, and she speak on different languiges, included our native Russian. Location of appart is very lucky, in the case of getting to the touristic center of Rome (3 min on urban train), and in the district there are many restourants vith different kitchens, so you'll have a choice where to have dinner next day;) and by the way it's unbelivabl. It’s in a calm, relaxed and stately area of Rome, however you’re just from a stop metro station to the center. The room was useful and spacious, a great breakfast with lots of choices, and the bathrooms were large. Everything was clean and the satellite TV and air conditioning worked in a perfect way as well. The owner/manager, Alessandro was very sympathetic and friendly giving advice in order to move with local nearby transportation, providing maps and personal guidance. The location was a few stops away from the old city so close enough to tourist points. It was nice to come back in the evening and explore the parioli neighborhood with great choices for food. We had horrible tourist food a few times in the old quarter and tried to eat as often as we could in our neighborhood. Rooms were very clean, breakfast promptly served in our room at requested time in the mornings, simple and filling. Overall good stay. The rooms are very charming and the house in which this B&B is location is beautiful. Before our arrival the General Manager send us an email and he and Victoria were both present upon arrival. The rooms are spacious and very clean. It's just 5 minutes walk to the train which is 1 stop from the centre. Also good restaurants in the neighberhood. We liked it to be outside the very touristic citycentre. Great place to relax, peace and quiet. The triple room is spacious, high ceiling adds volume and air. Easy access to the center via metro, just one stop. The staff and the owner are very nice and helpful, pleasure to deal with. One night when our 7-year daughter was too tired to go out with us she was welcomed by the owner's family and had dinner with them in the hotel. Everybody was happy :). Only one gripe, and this is being extraordinarily pedantic; the toast provided with the breakfast was only toasted on one side. This may be the Italian way of doing toast but for a Brit was a bit odd. Unfortunately after 6 pm. Reception is not reacting on bell incide the appart, but they always on the cell phone;). Getting hot water in the room was very slow, had a few lukewarm showers. But after we finally asked about it, it got much better. Wifi connectivity in our room was poor but signal and speed better in the common area. The owner was very gracious to offer his computer if my husband had any problems making his work call from his phone. If I should mention something it was the breakfast. You could choose some a menu but unless you indicated yourself it's the same every morning. I would suggest to add more 'fresh' products as some fresh bread. Now you can only take a boiled egg but I think you also can offer scrammbled or baked eggs. Mind mosquitos if you open windows. We missed a large mirror in the room. The breakfast could have perhaps been a little better, although it was ok, (on the final morning we had an early 5am departure and I feel more could have been left in the fridge - only had two cakes and a carton of milk. there's a closet but not enough shelves for 2 people. Nothing...highly recommend this B&B. Nothing. Breakfast was a bit sweet. Because it is brought to the room you need to eat any hot items quickly but this is all pretty minor stuff compared to the plusses. The breakfast was partly not fresh enough (croissants and cake). The coffee was although excellent. The location has it's positive and negative. We have to switch trains and late night there's limited service. But being a bit further away from the crowds actually make the stay quite peaceful. the breakfast was not typical, no fresh orange juice for example, no fresh bread... local train was on strike. its not hotel's fault but they should provide alternatives in these circumstances. air con didn't work. I liked everything. Nothing relevant. Sat tv did not work.
