location: very close to the tube station and to the 87 bus stop which goes to the Colosseum in 15 minutes. Lots of no tourist bars and restaurant all around Close to San Giovanni in Laterano Church (the Cathedral) walkable distance to the main monuments ----------- - Marco, the owner is very kind, friendly and helpful with lots of information - A coffee machine making proper Italian coffee is available 24h free of charge. As well as soft drinks and fruit. - Freshly squezeed orange juice for breakfast

A very helpful host, gave us a good introduction to the city, we have kept his map as a souvenir. Comfortable lodgings, nice breakfast, free drinks. Accessible location. Good value for money.

The service is brilliant. We stayed as at home. The Marco is great person. He assisted as during our visit to Rome. In fist day he gave us an advise how to explore the Rome. We was surprised when we got upgrade of our room. I strongly recommend this guesthouse. I will stay here next time.

Incredibly friendly staff - Marco offered us coffee and complimentary drinks at every occasion, organised museum bookings, talked to us about the city and gave us tips. Beautiful accommodation and service - really lovely room, delicious breakfast of cappucino, bread, salami, pastries provided every morning Very affordable - compared to the prices I saw for hotels, a steal. We would never have gotten service like that in a hotel twice the price Good location - 5 mins walk from San Giovanni metro station, convenient

The owners and staff were extremely helpful and informative. When we had a problem it was resolved immediately. Full marks.

It was actually quite noisy. It was a 20 minute walk to the Forum and centre and as it rained daily it felt a long way from the sights.

The manager is by far the best manager we've ever experienced. Very kind and helpful. Room was tidy and spacious.

Maybe the separate but private bathroom.

Excellent reception (free breakfast on arrival, free bottle of wine on the last evening), beautifull, stylish, brandnew appartment, very friendly and helpfull host. Just a 5' walk to the subway. A perfect 10/10.

Marco was an extremely friendly host and took the time to sit down with me when i arrived and talked me through all the most crucial info about rome, sights, food, transport etc and marked it all down on a map. Was absolutely perfect for what i wanted, and the rooms all seemed newly refurbished and very clean. Honestly cant recommend St. Johns enough. I will definitely be going back!

Everything was perfect. From the moment you walked into the door to the moment we walked out. Marco was fantastic. He spent time going through with us the sights, valuable tips and information about Rome. It was a most pleasure stay and as oasis in the chaotic city of Rome. After a long day sightseeing we returned to our room to a lovely bottle of sparkling, fonzies and chocolate. We felt spoilt. The room was immaculately clean, thanks to Felicia. Who even neatly folded and hung our clothes and placed it in the right place. Breakfast was also of high quality. No hot breakfast, however there were delicious, pastries, cold meats, muesli, fruit etc - there was a good selection. We asked Marco to arrange a shuttle service to the airport and he even delivered on that. The driver arrived on time, in a beautiful black Mercedes van, with nice leather seats. The driver was professional and got us to the airport in no time at all. A pleasant surprise. Highly recommended. Worth every cent.

Felicia very helpful and really nice girl. - Very nice room and bathroom. - The cleanest hotel in my live. - We got room with main street view but was very quite. (Good windows) - Good location . 300 mtrs from metro station. 15 minutes walk to Colosseum. - Recommend restaurant Li Rioni. Located between hotel and Colosseum. To my mind there is the best food in Rome Summary: 4+ stars hotel standard with 6 stars staff.

This apartment was spotless,the facilites were excellent,everything was very close by(excellent access to all public transport) the owner(Georgio) Very welcoming and helpful with everything. When we go back to Rome,this is the place for us 100%

The staff are great, we had a very warm welcome by Marco when we had arrived, and he helped us planning our one day stay in Rome. The room was big and beautiful, and very clean.

Marco the owner was lovely and friendly and gave us some very useful information including a map where he marked the monuments and the best ways to reach them etc. complimentary breakfast on the terrace! Facilities to make tea/coffee at any time included. Room was spotlessly clean and very modern. We stayed in the suite which was fabulous and very spacious. Location brilliant, we walked one day between attractions and used the metro the next, both are suitable ways of getting around!

Beautifully appointed rooms. Delicious fresh fruit and pastries for breakfast. Complimentary soft drinks and fruit available all day. Warm welcome on arrival and very helpful advice about tea el and sight seeing in Rome.

As far as i am aware there were No staff on site during the night in case of an emergency. This was not a problem for us but might be for those travelling with the very young or the more elderly?

We stayed in a newly decorated apartment (70m2), arranged with a taste in a modern style. The place is ideal for people who come to Rome either for touristic or shopping/business purposes. After hours of walking and sightseeing it provided to us very good relaxation with a bit of luxury. The host, Giorgio was extremely nice and helpful. We recommend this place to everybody!

We really enjoyed our stay at St John's terrace. Giorgio, Marco and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and always looking to help make our stay in Rome as great as possible. The hotel is new and very clean and well taken care of!

Excellent hospitality, staff, breakfast, facilities and decor. Location is a little further out, but an easy walk to the colleseum and other sites and close to transport links (bus and metro).

Absolutely everything was perfect. The room was an oasis in a hot and busy city. The terrace where breakfast is served was very cute and the choices for breakfast were absolutely delicious. Marco was an excellent host answering any question very competently and Felicia did an amazing job cleaning the rooms and helping out at breakfast. While the hotel is located a little ways away from most tourist attractions, it is located in a very authentic neighbourhood which we loved and bus/metro access in very convenient. We stayed in 5 hotels/B&Bs on our trip to Greece and Italy and this was by far our favourite. Congratulations!

While we did have a private bathroom, it was located outside of our bedroom, which was a little inconvenient (but we knew this when we made the booking).

Staff was excellent and assisted in many different ways (thanks Marco and Felicia!). Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast was substantial with various snacks and drinks throughout the day on the terrace. Still a bit perlexed on why a man would use the bidet thoiugh (LOL). Pickup and delivery to the airport was timely and uneventful.

Everything was fine. Perhaps an update to the nightstand lights in our room. A bit too fancy and don't think they worked as designed.

Marco, the guy who runs the place is very friendly and had great advice on where to eat and shop. The hotel is close to the city gates and historic sites. We'll be back for sure.

Marco and his staff are incredible. They accommodated every request we had, and they were ready to give us helpful hints about Rome (in terms of restaurants, attractions, transportation, and so on.) The room was spacious and the amenities were great, and the breakfast was the perfect light start to the day. The location, while not in the heart of the tourist area, was easily within walking distance of many major attractions, and even closer to Metro access. We would come back here every time.

This place is fantastic, a very warm welcome from Giorgio with loads of info on sights, transport and restaurants. The rooms are modern and spotless and breakfast on the roof terrace was wonderful. Lovely touches like strawberries and wine left in your room after a days sightseeing. Really can't say enough great things about this guesthouse, except we will come back.

The hotel took a very personal approach. They made us feel very pampered and went the extra mile. The room and bathroom was beautiful, the breakfasts excellent with special treats available throughout the day. Giorgio took the time the day we checked in to give us a map of the city and go over transportation and places to see. He arranged our taxi the day we left for the airport. Felicia was very helpful and kept a spotless B & B.

St. Johns terrace was excellent accommodation and Giorgio was a fantastic host from the moment we arrived! For the price, I genuinely dont think we could have found better accommodation and would certainly not have found customer service like it anywhere else, even in a 5star hotel! Absolutely flawless and will most definitely be staying again if I go back to Rome

We come early in the morning to St. John's Terrace. There was a early and familary welcome from Giorgio, the manager. He offered us breakfast on the sweet terrasse and gave us useful tips for sightseeing and show us everything important in a little map which was for us. The room was like in the pictures. Nice design and very clean. The location of St. John's Terrace is also great. Nearly to the Metro you can reach all the nice places. A walk to the Colosseum takes 15 min. Breakfast was good and you got coffee from a Nespresso Maschine ;) Every day Giorgio asked us if everything is ok or if we need something. Really nice and familary atmosphere. Like home. You feel, its important for Giorgio that you feel comfortable. When we leave, our flight was late in the evening. We can use our room till the evening without extra charge. So thx a lot Giorgio! We had a great time!

The location of St. John's Terrace is very nice. Close the metro station, tram and also the bus stop that has the bus that passed important places. Not to mention that the place was also close with delicious local ristorante, pizzeria and pasticceria. Marco, the host, was also very welcoming and provided us with everything we need. He let us know the recommended places to visit and how to get there. Very useful and helpful. The breakfast was also very good. The meat, the coffee, and the compliment sparkling wine. It was all perfect! We glad we stayed at the St. John's Terrace.
