We had an excellent experience. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The guesthouses's staff was welcoming and helpful when it came to answering our questions. During the check-in, they even made recommendations of cheap restaurants in the area that serve traditional Italian dishes. All in all, I would totally recommend the Sleeping Beauty to any of my friends. It's great value for the money! Rome is a superbe city, highly recommended for those who are passionate about History.
all reviews » I have traveled virtually everywhere in the world and have never met a hotel staff so dedicated to serve guests. They were really wonderful with everything from travel tips to printing out documents. The location is very good if you want to have access to the metro (a block) and easy walks to attractions such as the Coliseo but not be right in the Center. The park across the street was handy given our 10-year-old. The room was large, ample for 4, and had a refrigerator, always helpful. We a. Fantastic location; very well connected by Metro Station(7 min walk), Bus (5 min) and even Tram (5 min). Colossuem was about 10 mins in Tram, Vatican about 20 mins by Metro. Very friendly staff; Luka and his brother gave us valuable tips, booked cab for us and answered patiently to all our typical tourists queries. Lots of eating options around and shopping places near Giovanni station. Felt very safe while coming back late, no problem at all. We will surely stay here when we revisit Rome!. The hotel is in a nice location, you can walk to Colosseum and Forum Romanum within 15-20mn. If you don t like walking there is a metro station 5mn from the hotel (we stayed for 3 days and we used the Roma pass which you can use when visiting monuments and you can use the public transport). The staff was very friendly and helpful, gave us lot of useful advice. We tried one of the restaurants they recommend not far from the hotel and it was delicious. Very courteous staff with excellent service mindset - helped us out with all our planning, accommodated our requests to use the facilities (besides the room) after check out and patiently answered all the usual touristy questions. For the price, the room felt like it was built for an emperor. The toilets and kitchen were very clean. If I go back to Rome, I'm not staying anywhere else!. It was perfect!. Everything. Be mindful that the street outside is a busy one and can be very loud at night if you leave the window open. Ask for a room on the other side away from the street. No lift but since it was at first floor it wasn't a big deal for us. But traveller's with heavy luggage might keep this in mind. If I have to find something it would be the noisy street in front of the hotel. You can hear the tram especially in the morning. have no negative comments to post. showers need a bit of updating but all in all great value for money. You can't leave your luggage after check out (only till 13.30), because stuff members leave the hotel at 13.30 and come back in the evening. But you can leave your luggage at the station for 5 euro for one item for 5 hours. So it is not a problem. They have no option of leaving luggage for any time aftter check out. Breakfast is very poor ( coffe and croissant ). There is nearly no noise isolation. Safe in the room was out of service because of the battery and they succeeded to change it only on the third day. Information about moving in Roma given by staff was often wrong. The restaurants recommended by them were bad too. Do not use their references!. A lot of dust under bed, seems like they never clean there. Nothing! Great place to rest your head when out all day visiting Rome. Very noisy. Walls are thin and you can ear everything that happens in the other rooms. The kitchen wasn't fully equiped;. Shared bathroom was surprise,i was not aware as there is not much of this in US, but this is something we missed while booking. But,this was not a problem during our 3 night stAy. breakfast, room could do with a bit of an update, smallest TV screen in the world. no soap in one bathroom, no shower gel, no shampoo in both bathrooms.
