Second time we stayed here-everything was great and we even got the same room we had previously!!The only issue was that the shower door was broken but everyone couldn't have been more helpful to get it fixed as quickly as possible so there was no problem! Would definitely recommend it to everyone-we are returning to Rome next year to get married and would definitely considering staying here again.

They have free coffee in the commonroom, free use of computer with internet, the staff provide you withuseful info about getting around in Rome and map, they have bikes foruse, and they even have umbrellas - great hotel!. Very friendly staff, very nice and extremely clean rooms, perfect location near the Colosseum. Even if I had to get used to the room without a window to the outside (only a window in the roof and a door to the atrium...and I knew that before) - I highly recommend the BandB. Excellent staff (they could not be more courteous, friendly or helpful), fantastic location of hotel and room very lovely and comfortable. Excellent cleaning. Very close to the Colosseum (10 minutes walk) and to the underground! We look forward to returning!. The staff of the hotel were very very friendly. The room we stayed in is very nice and comfortable. There was free internet access which was heaven sent for us! Overall, we had a great time in this hotel and would definitely use them again. The room we had almost no natural light coming in and you also could not open the window ... when it is super hot and it only cools down at night it is more comfortable to switch of the airco and sleep with the window open ... also, since we were facing the courtyard [covered] this stuffiness was even worse. This said all other rooms don't have this problem so ask for a room with a view. At 8:30am each day, workers started work on the building next door. made for an early wake up call!. Breakfast. Coffee making facilities were fine, but it would have been nice to see some provision for tea drinkers. Price could have been somewhat lower. poor breakfast. a light is not enough in room.Whilst not being the earliest of risers, on two of the four days there,we had no hot water. Our room was next to the hotel entrance and we could hear other guests coming in and out very clearly. The hotel did not take my American Express, which was what I had used to make the reservation. I hope both cards were not charged. Also, the lack of outside windows and dirty air conditioner gave us stuffy noses. lights are too dark. The room had no windows, very stuffy, and no ventilation. If you stay here I'd only recommend this BandB if they can confirm one of the two rooms they have with windows. Otherwise I would not recommend. It is very expensive for what you get, however I guess this is Rome issue. Bathroom shower leaked badly.

By Plane:

From Fiumicino, take the train (Leonardo) to Station Termini.

By Train:

From Station Termini you have two options:
- Take the subway A (red line) until San Giovanni (2 stops), -walk towards Basilica di S. Giovanni and take Via Matteo Boiardo.
-About 50 m on your right you will find Via F.Berni,
-the hotel is situated at number 7.
- Take bus number 714 and get out at the 6th stop (S.Giovanni).
-Walk towards Via Merulana, once you passed it take the first street on your left (Via Matteo Boiardo) and proceed as above.

By Car:
-From the A1 highway, exit at Roma Est and take the Tangenziale Est.
- Follow directions EUR/S.Giovanni, from Piazza S. Giovanni take Via Merulana , then Viale Manzoni, Via Boiardo and proceed as above.
