Stop at Barbarano Romano and walkdown the street till you get to the hotel.The hotel was clean. absolutely nothing. People in this hotel is very unfriendly, the room is not clean well, the breakfast is awful, the fridger in the room sounds like a tank. I have to use an earplug to sleep. You even can't adjust the temperature in your room and have to make the call to the reception which was always busy or not available. the shuttle bus between the train station and hotel was already out of ord. thr road. no chair or tabel to put on the loggage. the information about to take the train or bus. no sufficient information at the reception, train station is a bit 1.5km away. Distance to the City - shuttle to train terminal great but not available on the way back to hotel. the room was very small, the bathroom system is not so good, the room was like a 3 stars hotel. Poor breakfast, poorly looking restaurant, not nice staff (lady) at reception, stuffy air in the room, Wi-Fi Internet works with problems (breaks). People in reception could be more helpful. Shuttle bus service should be more reliable and shuttle bus bigger compared to size of hotel.There was a smell in the room when we first entered. The hotel was a bit far away from the center. You must take a bus first and then metro or tram to get to the center and total time was approximately 50 min or 1 hour. There is a shuttle service but it was out of order during our stay. Stuff is unfriendly. Breakfast was quite poor for the 4* hotel. Quite far from the centre but we knew this and it wasn't really a problem.The condition of the bath was a disgrace (chipped enamel).Hardly any hangers in the wardrobe. No central heating at night when quite cold still. breakfast is too poor for a 4 star hotel, no fresh fruits at all. I didn't like the fact that the A/C didn't work very well at all and that the hotel was about twenty minutes from everything. It ended up being a pretty hefty taxi bill. the room was small. bus-shatle did not operating in appropiate time. Location and food. Reception staff were sometimes unfriendly. Restaurant staff are really nice.The difficulty to transport to the main attractions. It was situated up a big hill!!! Breakfast was awful! Hardly any staff spoke english.Yes, there was nobody to carry the suitcases from the hotel to outside!. there is a false information abt distance and means of transport, if is not true that there is direct metro line between the hotel and VAticano. in my opinion direct line doesn't mean to walk until the road, then take a bus 4 stops until Giustiniana, than take a train for 7 or 8 stops and than change for metro until Musei VAticani- 2 stops! also the personal hardly speaks english...The air conditioning system was broken and run overnight. The road to get to the hotel was unpaved and in bad conditions. Location is terriale, waste too much time..the staff at the reception desk is toooooooo awful !!!. A personal note to letsbookhotel.com - pls remove that they have a shuttleservice. This is not true. Everytime someone goes they tell them its notworking!! And one night we were cold and asked for extra blankets, hotelstaff said they would come, instead they turned off our air conditioner!The stay wasn't totally bad, but I would not stay again - its too farand the services are not 4 star. The hotel is much further away from Rome than advertised. There is absolutely nothing of interest near by it, so don't plan on having a walk around . The air conditioning and pay movie channels didn't work. The shuttle service to Rome was cancelled, with no alternative method of getting to Rome offered. We ended up getting taxi's in to the city every day, very expensive, around €25-30.Seems like the hotel has never invested in maintainance. Once, 20 years ago, being a luxury 4-star, now looks like a 2-star. Overall experience was very bad and I have no intention to go back there again. Everything. plus the hotel stuff never suggest you using public transportation, but only taxi.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served on the hotel’s ground floor; and the other side is a terraced dining area open in summer. The Mediterranean menu is updated seasonally by our chef, Monsieur Gallovics, and changes completely twice yearly to feature regional and seasonal dishes such as fresh pasta with clams, elegantly served by our maître, Monsieur Manzoni. The wine list has 100 options. Open all day long, it is the focal point of the hotel.
