As previously, a friendly welcome here by knowledgable staff. We stayed in the 5th floor "superior" rooms, which added an extra VIP touch to our stay, including free delivery of breakfast to our room (between 8 and 10am). Decor is new and air-conditioning effective and quiet in operation. The lift is lovely and quaint, if a little impractical when arriving and departing with lots of luggage. Not the most spacious of rooms, but perfectly adequate and excellent value for a great location within e.

Excellent location in a very beautiful and quiet, rather rich, neighborhood, 5 minutes walk from the Vatican, with Metro and bus stops near by. We had an inner room, with no window toward the street, which was quiet. The absence of a view I guess it was balanced by the absence of street noise. Fair cost - quality realationship for about 60€ per nigh. Fabulous hotel, perfectly situated for sight seeing. less than 10 mins walk to Vatican city. Funky designed rooms spotlessly clean. Exceptionally quiet of an evening considering location. We stayed in the deluxe double lilac and silver room shown. Quirky yet very comfortable. Staff were extremely warm friendly and helpful throughout the stay, Big thanks to Guiseppe who is the perfect host and an encyclopedia of information. Would highly recommend and we would certainly go back. Fatima delivered breakfast to me every morning at no extra charge! That was wonderful and it was really ample. The hotel was very clean, too. This hotel was very close to the Vatican. I would allow at least 10 minutes to walk up to the Vatican Museum entrance as it is up hill and, as I went in the summer, there are a lot of people walking tot he same spot. Do remember to book your tix online! I saved a lot of time that way. The cleanliness of the hotel was second to none, the cleaning and breakfast staff were very helpful and always busy keeping the food topped up. The reception staff too were most helpful with anything from directions, place to eat or sorting out our television into English. Excellent location within 15 minutes of most of the sights in Rome. Good comfortable beds and good facilities. The staff were really helpful and friendly and knew their stuff when it came to information about the major things to visit. Had to re-submit our breakfast order, but I think this service is new so their systems are settling down. You may need to take two trips in the lift if you've lots of luggage. There could have been a double bed instead of two sigles joined together. We would have liked a bar within the hotel however drinks are available to take to your room and you are only a couple of minutes walk from a bar. It wasn't really a big problem, but your room key doesn't give you access to the building. You have to buzz to be allowed in. Fortunately, someone is always at the desk and I was let in promptly day and night. The showers are very small, well in our room it was but can't comment on the rest of the rooms. Wasn't a huge drawback just something to consider if your a bigger person. The breakfast area is too small. The fact that there is not a cafe inside the hotel. If your room is facing the street thrre is a lot of noice from 6 am. Avoid rooms 408,409&410 because are next to the breakfast area. Room 410 next to breakfast area. Door is very thin, so in case you want to sleep in, 3rd floor might be a better choice. Breakfast only officially served from 8 to 10am. Several photos of rooms on letsbookhotel.com are clearly not standard rooms. No idea if the hotel is good value for money. I have nothing to compare it to. 550 euro for 4 nights was substantially above my budget as I was traveling alone. Never cheap. The size of the breakfast room which of course you can't fix because of the design of the building. But the breakfast was fantastic. If I am being extremely picky then I would say that my room was located next to the bar, so I at times I could hear people talk. The hotel was in a nice neighborhood that was close to the Vatican. However, there wasn’t as much nightlife as in other parts of Rome near the Colosseum or the center of the city. Our room which was really very nice was next door to the kitchen and breakfast room. Unfortunately, early in the morning it was particularly loud and noisy in the kitchen area with the staff preparing the breakfast, which tended to wake us up and keep us awake. Small complaint as otherwise the hotel was great. Nothing!. As others have commented- the breakfast room is a little small but this is easily overlooked considering all the plus points. There was nothing to dislike. The lift was quite small and somewhat slow. We had Room 408 - this was next door to the kitchen and breakfast room. Therefore, we were woken up at 6.45/7am each morning at the start of service. Wifi was not working in our room, as we were at the end of the hall. Try and avoid this. my room was in front of the breakfast room, therefore I woke up as soon as the staff started to clean up the tables for the breakfast. Nothing. The shower in our ensuite was blocked and smelt and after a 24hr flight we could not shower. Told reception thinking they would change our room but we had to wait until the next day. Changed rooms after the inhouse handyman could not fix it. Needless to say we were not impressed. nothing. N/A. uncomfortable bed!. There was nothing not to like. Nothing specific. the size of the room for breakfast , some day it took me a few try to be able to get a place and its only from 8h00 to 10h .. The room is a little small and the old lovely elevator is not very easy to use, especially for large luggage. The lunchroom is extremely small, very limited choice for breakfast buffet. shower to small. breakfast no frech bread and no good orange juice But not a big item for us;. one of the reservations with the dark face was not polite and helpful. Loved everything. Breakfast. small breakfast room which made it difficult to eat in a group of 3 as tables are really only for 2 people. When entering the building there was no signage of the hotel indicating that the reception is on the 4th. floor, please take the elevator. nothing (leaking shower cabin only). We did not get appropriate info about bus lines when we asked the staff. They just wanted to sell hop-on-hop-off tourist bus tickets. Breakfast-room too small, overcrowded. Would have been nice to have tea or coffee making facilities in the room.
