Excellent geopgraphic situation - located almost in front of la torta! The price - i got a huge reduction... I booked a single room, but there was none available, so they upgraded me for the same price which was already very modest, that was really nice! Notice that there's no food available in this hotel except minibar, minibar prices are listed in the room. It was in a great central location to see all the sites. The staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke good English. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to experience Rome.
all reviews » the hotel was in a perfect place everything in walking distance , the staff were friendly, rooms recently refurbished and beds and towels changed daily. All was nearly perfect. If you are looking for a bit of peace and quiet when you get back to the hotel then this would be an issue. Carpet was filthy, but remodeling was being done, I think. The walls were thin. I could hear all the hall traffic.the bath was tiny. I had to choose between noise and temperature because of the poor air conditioning. I could open the window to make the room cool, but then I suffered from the noise; or I could keep the window closed to keep out the noise, but then I suffered from the heat.Rooms were small and there is no breakfast in the hotel. some rooms are dark. The suite we were given was way too small. There was barely any space to walk around the bed. There was no closet to hang our clothes. The toilet was so close to the wall that if you were to sit down on it your knees would touch the wall. We spent aprox. 350euros and felt cheated. It was difficult to move around in the space with a child under 1yr. If possible I would ask for some money back. Location: the hotel aren't view at altare de la patria; the room and thebathroom are very very very small. Shower head was broken, and there were only shower curtain with bad drainage. Therefore, water leaked all over. the room was small, had no real window ( just small window in the celling) and the bathroom was extremally small, overall the room was very different vs. rooms shown on the web. Size of bathroom, noise. No AC, restoration of the Hotel, noise level high, no power to the room refrigerator, lost power to the elevator and some sewer smell in the bathroom. The bathroom was very small. The fact that there is sometimes a lot of noise (from outside mainly). Absence of hot water. It was incredibly hot in my room. Quite in contrast with air conditioning proclaimed in the website and without possibility to open windiw, as there was no window.the bathroom was very small, on our last day we did not have hot water at all. Power went out, No hot water, Big noice from the street, No real windows. The air con didn't work for the duration of our stay. Not nice in the summer. Room without window and incredibly stuffy. Fortunately management agreed to change room.no airconditioning, we complained to staff who said that they would turn it on but after three complaints never did. it was 32c and u could not open the window as it was extremely noisy outside. our 2 night stay was unbearable we ended up having to sleep with wet towels to try and cool us down, this hotel really needs air conditioning, will never stay there again. Sluggish staff; heating was out of oder for three days.
