Our standard room was medium sized, clean, bright and airy with a mini bar and large en suite. We also had a small balcony. Beds were very comfortable and there was no noise at night. Air conditioning was easy to control. Good variety for breakfast. Staff at reception very friendly and obliging. Vincinzo at the front desk was very nice and helpful. He spoke English and was really patient with us.Hotel was clean, shower water pressure was strong and towels were huge...ask for a balcony room. For breakfast they had scramble eggs and bacon besides all the regular Italian stuff.

I suppose, it's the first hotel of those I've lived in before, which changes towels and linen every day. Good hotel. Carmine at the front desk was extremely helpful, indeed all the staff were excellent. I could find no fault at all with the hotel which to be honest is not very common these days. The room service meals (except for breakfast) were poor quality and very expensive. Expected the roof deck to be opened on a more regular basis. There was a beautiful bar within a lovely lounge next to the reception area but this was always closed. Instead there was a bar up on the top floor in a very dismal room which had spare mattresses stored in one corner. The place had no atmosphere, the bar man was very unfriendly and the prices ridiculously high. We found a nice bar/ shop across the road from the hotel which was much nicer (and cheaper) for a night cap. The bedrooms were on the small side, although the bathrooms were large. Also, it's a fair walk from hotel Clodio to most of the tourist sites, although there's a bus stop close by. The metro station is about 10 minutes walk away. It's not the best Hotel, but the price is fair. Old furniture, we miss the restaurant for the dinner in the hotel. Hotel and rooms look old. No bath, only shower in room. Beds very, very hard, like sleeping directly on a board. There was nothing that we did not like. Difficult entry with a wheelchair!. The guy on reception was a bit grumpy. breakfast same same everyday! internet - working not good. The journey to the center by bus or by bus+metro was much time consuming, not many restaurants is the area. The wifi was working poorly. There was no tea/coffee service in the room. Some rooms don't have external view. Realy poor breakfast selection, no vegetables at all which is quite soprice cos this is Italy. There is no kettle, tea cups, tee in the room. You cant order hot drinks to the room before 6:00 pm. In the 4 * hotel is unacceptable. Far from city center and the termini. Rooms a bit small. The additional charge for my child (4 year old). They insisted to over charge me because of my child even if I did not require extra bed. Lack of restaurant lack of tea/coffee in room service. hard to find out, poor breakfast. Poor breakfast. A bit off the track. Broken bamper of the car.
