The staff are by far the biggest asset in this hotel. We were greeted by Raphaella who could not have been more helpful throughout our stay. On one night we had an issue getting our mobile to work which given we had left our two small children with their grand parents was an issue. The hotel let us use their phone to make an international call which just showed us how far they go to accommodate their guests. The staff were really friendly and since there were only about 9 rooms (I think) the level of service was exceptional. Breakfast was good and the hotel was really close to some good restaurants. Me and my girlfriend were there on Valentines Day and I asked the receptionist to do something with my bedroom while we were away, he arranged for a bouquet of roses and rose petals on the bed with Champagne glasses (which I had aske. My husband and I stayed at room 404 for 4 nights from Sep 25 to Sep 28, We had wonderful time in Rome. The room with nice design, spacious and clean. The breakfast was very nice, the location is great and feel safe to walk around. Staff were very helpful especially Raffaella, she gave us advice on maps, sites and restaurants. She also arranged airport transportation for us on arrival and departure, the service was great. Since the hotel only has 9 rooms, we strongly recommend people book early. The hotel was in a great location and very easy up find on public transport. The staff were very friendly and helpful, provided us with maps and guides for the city and tips on what to do. We had to circle the block 5 or 6 times before we found a paid parking space. nothing, all was perfect. Only able to stay one day!. Hotel is quite far from attractions like Colosseum etc. If you have the time, it is walkable. However, the metro is always a good alternative especially on the way home. No iron's allowed - Italian law? Daft. Artsy design, but not practical for room. Max 6 hangers due to odd design of 6 hangers hung from the ceiling and no closet. And could not access drawers for clothes because of placement of hangers. No full length mirror and no magnifying mirror. No room on sink area for cosmetics due to modern sink. All design without thought to function. Not ideal if you plan to unpack and stay for more than 1-2 days. Nothing in particular. Some fruit and vegetables would be nice in the breakfast. A little hard to find the hotel and we had trouble with our air conditioning, but the staff were very helpful in trying to rectify this. A guy (who was apparently member of the staff) would chain smoke in the downstairs entry area. His smoke would rise and totally polute our room with cigarrette stench. Nothing. Nothing. Not enough follow through on tour requests. Can't connect to wifi in room, problem solving took 3 days, which is solved in the last day we stayed. Not easy to find the hotel. No place for smoking. nothing the hotel is great. Nothing. Nothing.
