This was my 4th visit to Rome. Owner was amazing. He was waiting for us at the reception when we arrived and we noticed that he did this for every single guest, no matter what time they arrived day or night. We stayed in the Blue room between my parents (sharing the Queen bed) and myself on the twin. The bathroom shower was very nice and although our room faced the main street Via Gigliotti, it completely sealed off the traffic and pedestrian noise. There is a kitchen with breakfast/snacks read.
all reviews » The facilities were clean and the room was large and colorful. It was just the shower that was small but that was all we needed. Location is across the street from the main train station so we didn't have to carry our luggage too far. Staff were friendly but we only dealt with them when we checked in since they do not stay on site. They do provide you with a phone number in case you need anything. Just make sure that you let them know in advance when you will be arriving so they are there to me. The location was neart termini station.Less than 5 mins walk.Alot of food stalls around.If you have trouble looking for it,just walk on the same street as mcdonalds..once you're out of the station,turn left and walk on the same street as Mcds.Its a big green door next to an chinese accessories shop.Its at level 4.Dont worry,it has a lift :) and the number of doors we have to enter makes me feel secure.The place is quite ghetto at night but I feel like the police are always around so no worries . Wow, what a great place!. Get past the immediate location (Next to the Termini, not too clean streets, slightly undersirable types (who actually do not bother you at all)) and you go through 4 locked doord to reach your colour-coded room. Great rooms and facilities with free Wi-Fi and a computer to use. Shared kitchen but not a problem if everyone cleans up after themselves. Plenty of food and coffee etc available. Funkiest sink I have ever seen - Lights up and changes colour with the temperatu. We had a great stay. All-day breakfast; water machine providing room-temperature water, sparkling water, and cold water; Nexpresso coffee maker, colorful rooms; free and fast wifi, desk top computer for use. Our room was facing the main street across Rome Termini, but we did not hear any noice from the street. The building is very clean and has marble stairs, high security (4 keys to the room). There's a small elevator (helps a lot when carrying luggages). The room was bright and clean. The location near the station was extremely convenient and easy to find. The emailed directions were great. The owner was very helpful with information on check in, but he was not there to supervise the breakfast. We felt safe even though the location is not in the best area, but it is so close to the station there is no problem. We loved the supply of good water in the breakfast room and the excellent supply of fruit. 1. fantastic facility across all the hotels I lived so far with kitchen, refrigerator and microwave heater and free fruit, milk, etc... 2. hospital boss allowed my late check out the day we stayed due to my flight was late that evening. friendly and easygoing guy 3. quiet and comfortable room with good location, 2 mins from Termini Station. Just what we needed, great locatin, across the street from Termini station, yet very quiet-double glaze windows. young and beutiful design, kitchen room with 24 hours coffee/tea, fruit, toast, cake, water/soda and frige with your own shelf, the owners-sweet couple that , helped us so much, very clean, , we loved it and our 2 kids. Host was very welcoming and helpful. We had the Orange Room - very comfortable clean room. Had kitchen beside us so was nice to be able to have a hot drink and snack which was stocked up daily. Location was handy, was a bit seedy at night, train station across the road, and easy walking to sights we wanted to see. The room was nice and clean. There was a good breakfast. It was exactly in front of the train and bus station. This was perfect as we had to take the bus early in the morning to go to the airport. The rooms are protected from outside noise but we were woken both mornings before 7am by other guests having breakfast. They could have been more considerate but it would be very hard to stop the noise as the rooms are so close to each other. Also there was no fresh bread and on the 2nd morning all the toast bread was gone before we got up at 7:30! Minor irritations I know but worth mentioning, and good bread should be available in Italy. Wasn't a great fan of the 4 keys to get into our room, however it did make us feel very safe!. Can be a bit noisy due to the location (in our case the airport bus stop was opposite the street, so you had always busses arriving, people coming and going)...but bearable with earplugs. Nothing. Poor breakfast, but its possible to cook yourself!. Four keys to be responsible for!!!. Slow wi-fi connection. Noisy in the night because of traffic - worth for close location from train station. - Broken coffee machine (fixing in process). - Noisy neighbour (next door). Nothing at all. Initially found it hard to find as there is no "hotel" sign displayed. You need to go by the address and look for a big green door. Water cut off in whole building due to a plumbing issue but not owners fault. He provided everyone bottles of water until back on in the evening. Small elevator but ok. Neighborhood not best but ok. Other room make the large voice, and run in the way . Make annoyed in 6 am. And they pick up the Croissants.to eat in the room .not enouch for other room. Access to our room requires 4 keys. Nothing. Toilet a bit small. not the best neighborhood but didn't fear for safety. At that time my air con. does not work. No English Speaking TV channels! Breakfast and kitchen facilities poor. Communal dishwasher filthy!. The sound isolation is very poor. Noise by the other guests makes you feel very uncomfortable. Also trying to be quite for not disturbing the other guests is boring. The breakfast is average but eating the same things every day is annoying. It was close to Termini Station but it felt very unsafe. The bed coverings were dirty. The area smelled bad. It is several rooms in a small apartment and there is no sound barrier. It was very loud at night when other guests returned. You could hear noise from the streets. Overall, horrible and I would not recommend it to anyone.
