The staff was very friendly and helpful. They knew a couple of different languages enough to be kind and helpful. The street was quiet and even though I had read that you could hear others in the next room, guess we were tired enough from our sightseeing, we didn't hear anything. The room was large, even with a queen and two twins in it, it worked out fine. The beds were comfortable. I wasn't so sure about the twin cots but I slept on one and no problem with my bad back. It is just a 5 mi.
all reviews » Very friendly staff, clean bedroom and bath, AC and shower works well. I thought the room is pretty sound proof, as we did not hear any noise during our 3 nights. Bed is firm but we liked it. The hotel is on a quite street and feels safe. It's actually next to an adult cinema but very quite and did not bother us. Walking distance to Termini station, there is also a bus station(#90) near by, we used it from train station but we did not find out how to ride it the other way around. Overall, a goo. This B&B is perfectly located, very close to Station Termini and metro station Republica. There is an excellent homelike restaurant with wonderful pasta and rose wine nearby. The breakfast was sufficient with excellent coffee, however after 8 days we looked forward to something different. The staff is very nice and they maintained our room perfectly. They changed our towels and sheets every second day which was very nice. I loved this place and for the price we paid I say it is highly recom. It was quite new facility, has been opened for almost 1 year. Beds were comfortable & clean, bedroom was simply chic, TV was available and AC was working fine. Bathroom was clean and did not bad smell, we can have cappucino or hot chocolate. We had breakfast in small dining room but well presented. Staff/ owner were nice, friendly and helpful. Location was 15 minutes walking distance from Rome Termini station. Free water and computer with internet connection. We stayed for three nights and on the whole we found the Bon Ton clean with very friendly and helpful staff. Patricio, welcomed us and was always very helpful. Also Nicola and Dario were very and helpful and made us feel at home. We strongly recommend the Bon Ton also for its location. Near to the very city centre and in the vicinity there are many eating places and a good wine bar just near the station. My husband and I recently stayed at the Bon Ton Suite for a 3 day stay in Rome....The location was easy to find and within walking distance to the Termini Train Station...We were amazed by the size of the room - remarkably large in comparison to other European places we stayed in the past. The room was "super" clean and the staff very welcoming!!! Great place and great value!. Great value for the $$. It is Spartan, and comparable to the cost. The place is clean and the staff is beyond friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were decent and simple, and just fine to start the day, and The Station was a 5 min. Walk. They guys were excellent about information on the city and the Metro, directions, fees, etc...I Would recommend it to anyone. Although we arrived a bit late, a friend of the boss, Dario, still tried his best to show us the overall sight-seeing route of Rome. They agreed to cancelled one room (which cannot be cancelled according to policy) for us when some of my friends could not show up because of visa problem. By mistake, they debited my credit card, although I choose to pay by cash, after my complaint, they return 10 euro price difference. It would be better if there was a sign at the front door to find the place easier but I read the posts others had left and knew how to find it. No problems. None. We had to wait and knock the door for 30-45 minutes as no one was available, because we were late behind the confirmed arrival time schedule. Thanks to a guest who might called the staff/owner to come to welcome us. So you better confirm your arrival time otherwise you have to wait until someone open the door. It is located next too adult movie stores, so becarefull if you bring children with you. Nothing relevant. Hallway floors are a bit loud under foot (and voice echo). Much of this however, depends upon the guests ability to respect one another and be quiet in the common areas (which we all generally did when I was there) Probably not the place if you have a small kid or two.. The door wall seems too thin, we can hear people talking clearly. Breakfast could be a little bit better... a little bit noisy from the hallway. Well, the neighbourhood was a bit sketchy, since it was right next to a theatre with a "Sexy Movies" neon sign. But we had no problems walking around at night, and during the day the street was closed to cars and there were vendors set up, so it was pretty nice that way. Nothing at all. Quite difficult to spot, took us a bit to find the place. Nothing .. Our particular room, #5, was a bit too small for a couple. That is the smallest room they have. The location is adequate but a 10 min walk from Termini Station. little bite far away from transportation. There is an adult movie theater downstairs, but it is no obvious effect. We had to leave. Bed base was much larger than mattress and kept knocking legs on the corners - lots of bruises. We did not like the lift (old style elevator) because it was out of order a few times, particularly when we had our luggage! It was also warm in our room sometimes so the a/c probably needs upgrading. I did not care to walk by strip clubs at night (next door) to go into the B&B. I thought it was pricey for what it offered. nothing. Nothing to comment. nothing..!. A little difficult to find - a larger sign would be helpful. In the eighth room poorly working crane in the sink. Nothing. Nothing. Reading lights didn't work. Poor breakfast. Located on 6th floor. Expensive for what you get i.e.Small 'budget standard' rooms. We booked 2 nights, they asked us to change rooms without any explanation, only"sorry", "please". The breakfast is really bad, even the fruits they supplied are not fresh at all! Walls are so thin, we can hear everything! The location isn't that close to train station or interest points, and the walking path from train station to hotel aren't pleasant, no road to pull your luggage, tidy, and people on the street look dodgy...
