We arrived to Rom on sunday evening. Så few days before got we an email from Michelle who is working as a assistent there. She was asking us about if we need any help with taxi or more like tickets to museums. It was very nice of her! The taxi waited us when we arrived. It was a really good standard for B&B: bedclothes, that were changed to clean every third day; the bathrum was in the room; towels were changed to clean every day if it needed; breakfast was simple inkluding warm croissants .
all reviews » We stayed two nights.Our hosts were excellent. Very welcoming and informative about Rome and places to visit. The room was clean but I feel a tad on the small side and quite basic in its layout. Nice bathroom. You could help yourself to refreshments whenever you want. Breakfast was served in your room as there was no kitchen or dining room. this was at an agreed time with hosts. This was a continental breakfast and consisted of toast, croissants, yogurt and drinks. This was plenty. The staff at BBAmor are great. They helped us with a map and suggestions for our stay in Rome. The BB is right next door to the Vatican - perfect for our tour. The area is busy but you can't hear any of that in the room. The breakfast was amazing and was brought to your room at the hour you requested. And who stocks a mini fridge at no charge? Yeah, BBAmore takes care of you!. The location of the B&B is ideal. It's close to the Vatican city and there's a metro station right outside the door. The rooms look good and are well maintained. Our room had a large shower (Emanuelle) and the room itself was large enough. The breakfast is served in your room every morning at a time that suits you. The owners do everything to make you feel at home. Location great for st peters basillisa, vatican. Close to metro for all other sites ie coloseum, roman forum, trevi fountain, spanish steps. Lots of good restuarants in area. Michelle a sweetheart, very knowlegable young lady. Breakfast, coffee etc tasty. We would say yes to another stay in rome, great for 3-4 days!. The staff was excellent, very friendly and they gave us nice advise and helped us with the the tickets to museums, etc. The location was very good, 5 minutes from vatican and 1 minute from metro. The room was very clean and new, apart for the soap issue the other facilities were perfect. The hotel is in a fantastic location. literally 2 minutes walk from the metro, and 10 minutes walk to the Vatican. They bring you breakfast in bed (literally) every morning. The rooms are a very comfortable size. The staff were great and overall great experience in Rome. Totally out of my expectation. Very good location near subway and can find a mobile shop easily to get a sim card. Comfortable room with design and quick wifi. The location was right next to the Vatican & metro stop...extremely convenient for seeing the sites of Rome. Breakfast was great. Satellite TV was also a plus. The staff was very friendly and helpfull,breakfasts are rich,underground is very close to the hotel. By the way, we liked pizza closed to the entrance (margarita is extremely delicious). We loved our stay, Michelle was very kind and helpful, the location was excellent, the Vatican was less than 10 min away walking, the metro station was just a few steps away, very safe. Very central location easy to walk to all the local sites, excellent position for visiting the Vatican. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean. We enjoyed every part of the hotel from the moment we got there. George was very help full and friendly. It was rather unpleasant to sleep under the bedspread that was used by othere people before and was not clean. We tried to explain to the staff that we would like to get each duvet cover instead, but they didnt understod what we mean. :-) May be there are not such things in Italian - too warm... Breakfast in room as I like to meet other guests. This is a personal opinion as I know a lot of guests would like this. thin mattress - needed a little more padding (but we are also not petite people :). The bathroom soap was tiny and one day they forgot to refill it. The elevator of the building smelt horrible. The market in front of the entrance,but,sure, B&B Amore owners can do nothing about it. Only downside is the coffee was not replaced when used. Everything was great. no coffe/tea maker in the rooms, but you can use them freely at reception. desk reception not available all the times, but this is just B&B. rooms are not completely sound proofed. - Only continental breakfast (served in room) which includes mostly sweets. The fact that part of our luggage went missing when we put it in storage - the receptionist was late getting back and so in the haste of packing it into our transport part of it went missing. Rooms are not enough large for 3 people, elevator to rooms only accept 2 person. We had to open the windows, because air conditioner was very noisy; the street was also noisy for this reason we could'nt sleep well. room size. Dear Sir, We found that the heating air conditioner is not working since I got a cold from the cold air. Yet, the problem also occurred in France. Plastic sheet on bed under sheets was uncomfortable and noisy. Rude staff. No carpet, cheap furniture, meant to look trendy but just comes across tacky and cheap. Nothing more than a very overpriced backpackers.
