The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the hotel was very clean. Couldn't ask for anything more. Position and breathtaking views. Friendly and helpful staff. all reviews » Close to Town Centre and transport down to Coastal towns. Beautiful views from all rooms with good faciliries (Restaurant and Pool). Rooms clean and space more than adequate. The staff were great and the pool was necessary! We used it everyday, especially since there is not too much to do in Ravello except relax!. The views overlooking The Amalfi coast were stunning,and it was a walking distance to the venue of our family wedding. Location, scenery, cleanliness were all excellent. Service was also very good and staff were friendly. Pool area was lovely.I would definitely recommend the Hotel to others.Great View!. the pool. Friendly, accomodating staff and excellent view. Pleased the hotel offered parking and also parked the car for you. Rooms were spotless and modern - view from the balcony was amazing.The room was lovely and so was the view. No but the outside building impression does not justify the inside quality.The hotel was very pleasant and staff very courteous, but the air con in our particular room wasn't very efficient, that's the only reason my comment was "fair" for comfort of room.It appeared our end of the hotel's air con wasn't as good as the other part.I reported it,and there was a slight improvement. There was only one room key for each room which was a bit awkward, and one or two electrical items were not working in the rooms....mini bar, bedside lamps etc.Construction going on right next to our room...chunks of tile kept falling on to our balcony. Don't really feel that this hotel ranks as a 4 star hotel. the mosquitos on the balcony outside our hotel and subsequently not being able to let any air into the room. There could have been a little more choice at Breakfast. The only thing, i would say is when booking, we were not made aware that there was construction work going on beside the hotel, Apart from that the stay was great.My room was very modern but the rest of the hotel needs updating as it was very old fashioned. Also drinks and snacks were not easily available - a vending machine with cold drinks would have been very welcome. no a/c lounge area, poor light in rooms and bathroom, shower???.

Information about the area

Ravello occupies a splendid position on a naturally formed terrace overlooking the Amalfi Coast. For many years Ravello has been a traditional stopping place for visitors from all over the world and has inspired many artists; Richard Wagner composed part of his Parsifal here, Boccaccio evoked its atmosphere in the Decamerone.
In Ravello you can see many things: The Cathedral, dates back to the 12th century, Villa Rufolo, built by a local noble family. The sheer beauty of these gardens inspired the great musician Richard Wagner .
Then you can visit Villa Cimbrone: the view from the belvedere at Villa Cimbrone in Ravello is one of the most spectacular on the Amalfi Coast. It was a meeting place for people from cultural political and artistic backgrounds such as, Winston Churchill and Greta Garbo (who stayed here in 1938 with Leopold Stokowski).

Most of our rooms have been recently refurbished, and are well equipped and comfortable. You can choose among the standard rooms, the superior rooms and the junior suites: all of them are furnished in a different way with attention to detail.
The room floors are tiled with the typical colourful ceramics of Vietri. Some of the rooms have a terrace and others have a balcony from where you can admire the entire coast and the Bay of Salerno.
All of them have a private bathroom equipped with shower or bathtub.

Travelling information

By Car
From the South and East:
On motorway A3 take the junction to Salerno Centro. Turn left following signs to Vietri sul Mare and Amalfi. Before Amalfi you reach Ravello. The hotel is on your left.

From Naples: follow the directions to the motorway A3 and Salerno. On A3 take the junction "Angri", through the valley of Chiunzi, directed to Ravello. When you reach Ravello, the hotel is located just before you enter the centre.

Driving from Rome: A30 exit "Nocera Inferiore", through the valley of Chiunzi, directed to Ravello.

By Train
Salerno is the nearest railway station: 25 km – approximately 55 minutes drive. From the station you can take a taxi or bus for Amalfi and Ravello. The bus stop is only 2 minutes walking distance from the hotel.
Naples is the second nearest: 70 km – approximately 75 minutes drive.

By plane
Naples Airport is the nearest airport well connected with Rome, Milan, Venice, London, Paris & Frankfurt. From the airport you can take the bus for Sorrento, Amalfi and Ravello.
