The adventurous drive up the mountain to get to the hotel. The staff of the hotel was really friendly and funny. Good food from the restaurant after a long drive. friendly staff. The (old) bathroom was really small and the shower gave hardly any water. The hotel desperately needs some money spent on it to bring it up to an acceptable 21st century standard. Poor breakfast by Italian standards - no fresh bread or fresh anything really - all food that will last forever in a packet, suggesting that they don't have enough people staying to warrant spending money on food that will go off - which of course is counterproductive.
