Beautiful located Residence (200 m above Lake Como) with a marvelous view over the lake which immediately gets you into the right “holiday mood” and lets you forget the narrow access road. We booked for 2 weeks in apartment Serenita, a huge and very comfortable place to stay with the living room and large balcony facing the lake directly. The owner is very friendly and helpful and we really liked the delivery service for breakfast, lunch and dinner (great pizza and pasta!) and the free WiFi! .
all reviews » Fantastic location, once you've braved the narrow road up there! Gorgeous views. Pool looked fab, but too cold in April. My 11 year old daughter loved the hot tub (inside). Very good standard of furnishing, fixtures etc, and little touches like the wine, fruit basket and washing up liquid we're nice. They waited up very late for us to arrive and were very welcoming despite our delays. The view from the terrace in our room down the lake was absolutly amazing, and the pool gorgeous. It's a beautifully maintained property. Beautiful bottle of wine and fruit in our room on arrival. Amazing views of the lake and the mountains. Apartment was spotless, very well furnished and kitchen fully equipped with everything travellers need. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Will certainly go back!. Gravedona itself is lovely. Beautiful setting and very modern accommodation facilities - relaxing and spacious. The amazing location and views, really helpful staff, lovely pool. The rooms was perfect with a beautiful view over the lake. Luxury apartment , with beautiful views of Lake Como. Amazing view and very nice house. Stayed in ground floor apartment that had no view from inside apartment which was disappointing. Also had a connecting door to the next apartment (apparently so that this can be made a bigger apartment); when it was occupied we could hear every word said next door. Wasn't major issue for us, but for example, if there was baby next door it could have ruined the stay. Spa a bit cold, very limited office hours and no one generally around the place (..which can also be quite good). No duvet (just sheet and blanket) so was cold at night. No dishcloths, coffee/tea in the kitchen. A €25 'short stay' cleaning fee is not great. Plus an 'inspection' of your room before being able to depart left us feeling a bit disappointed (and somehow like they were suspicious of us stealing something..). Wifi didn't work well in our room. Accommodation is located in tiny road so a bit nerve wracking driving there and parking. Could have been a few more things in the kitchen - microwaveable dish, kitchen cloth and medium sized saucepan. The €45 cleaning charge for two nights stay seems very excessive - why not include in the rent?. Slightly too far out of town to be able to walk, car needed. Very narrow approach road with bends! Apartment did not have any cleaning cloths to wipe surfaces and there were no instructions for operating dishwasher, tv or microwave. Booked for 2 adults and 1 child age 16 through your site but venue told 2 adults only. This is the second that this has happened with letsbookhotel.com.
