The hotel staff really nice and friendly, location of the hotel, the breakfast was really good (the best of 10 hotels I stayed in Italy), the room was really nice! (One minor detail was not excellent: there was some incenses with really heavy smell placed on the table. There were tea/coffee making facilities in the room, which was one of the many advertised features which attracted us to this hotel. However, the only cups provided were polystyrene disposable beakers, which we thought was very poor.The clock in the room makes noise all night long. The room was a bit dark because it gave on a very narrow alley. The shower had a leak. Breakfast. great to have tea/coffee making facilities in room but not in plastic cups. The noise even in a room which was supposed to be quiet. Not possible toopen the window!. although in city centre there were very few places to eat in the evening. I find the temperature of the rooms in hotels in general is too high for my comfort. This applied also to this hotel, even with the radiator turned off. A small point, but a small shelf above the basin on which to place toothbrush, toothpaste, shaver etc would have been welcome.Breakfasts left a little to be desired. Our room, on the side of the hotel, was very noisy from 5am onwards.
