The setting: a B&B in an Italian castello in the small, walled, hilltop town of Vertine, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. The views into the valley are stunning. The Castello was very different to where I would usually stay, charming. Although the hostess only serves breakfast there are a good choice of restaurants and cafes in Gaiole and the surrounding area. quaint cottage filled with character very private and only a few steps from the amazing pool, beautiful countryside. incredible views ! owners are very nice.
