Very well located, is a very clean place. all reviews » A 3-4 stars hotel room inside a traditional hostel (room 355 for 4 people) notwithstanding it's a place for young people. Very nice! 10 minutes walking from Florence Santa Maria Novella Railways station, 10 minutes from Duomo of Florence and Giotto Tower, 15 minutes by bus from very cheap car parks. If you want to park nearby the hostel they have agreements with 20€ / day car park. If you want to spend less ... you can get a bus from S.Maria Novella and find out very cheap places (have a look a. One of the best hostels I've stayed at. This place has everything. I was in the new building and the room was very nice, even with 4 or 5 people in the room there was plenty of space. The shower and toilet were separate, which is a must in a hostel. The WiFi was okay, but wasn't so good in the new building. Breakfast was awesome, eggs, bacon, mushrooms, baked beans, croissants, breads, jams, cereals, fruit, and heaps of other stuff. Washing machines and driers on site, although 4 euros each. Wonderful place to stay! Everything is near to this hostel. The staff is very nice and helpful! There are a lot of young people so you can easily make new friends if you travel alone. Rooms are comfortable. IN the building we stayed everything was new and modern! We had a double room with a private bathroom, tv, airconditioning, with a good bed and we payed only 40 euro for one night! You will never find such a better place for this price in Florence! The Plus Florence is located near to the train station Santa Maria Novella, so you can arrive at this station and just walk to the hostel. It is also very well located to walk around the city and visit the main points in the city. The facilities and stuff are incredible and very helpful. The room is clean and cozy. The front desk only had 2 people working behind it even though there were a lot of other staff present. There was always a line and it took awhile just to get a key card. Nothing really, room could have been changed over (cleaned) before 5:30pm!. Far from major attractions, not very social. The terrace bar (on top) was not open for business during our stay. I stayed in 3 different rooms and only in one of them the internet was working properly. noise made from drunk teenagers, screaming and yelling, we were on the floor of the terrace so couldnt help and hard mattress. The breakfast costs 6 euros - never tried it, so I don't know what includes, but - is very expensive, as I can have a coffee and a croissant in a cafe with less than 2.50. Nothing. Everything is excellent - just remember that you're going into the hotel for young travellers. The room in the old building was a bit small to contain two beds, but it was manageable. Bacon smell was all over the restaurant and as a vegan I couldn't support it & had to get my breakfast from another place. There were always lots of people at the reception, had to wait in line every time. But the price seems not that eco too.
