We loved this hotel. It was excellent value for money. The room was spacious, the bathroom was big and clean and we had a balcony with a great view. The centre is a 20 minute walk away, but the walk down the river (past a number of good cafe's etc) is worth the effort. The staff were friendly and even tried to undercharge us!. good public transportation from and to the hotel, kindness, good information of all needs for a foreign visitor.
all reviews » The hotel is very good, room was very big (taking into account the price) with a huge terrace (we took double dependence room). A neighborhood is quiet, a bus stop to the city center is about 100 meters. Breakfast is quite substantial. Overall, I'd definitely return there again. The terrace in front of our room and the breakfast included. The parking space for our car.good breakfest, marble bathroom, comfortable room. the hotel looks like 4 stars. All the staff without exception were friendly and helpful, but top marks go to the two women who waited the tables for breakfast; they were friendly, efficient, discreet and made us feel like family; they deserve a merit award! Next in importance to the women who served was the breakfasts themselves: each one a lavish breakfast with all the nutrition one needs for the day, and great coffee!. Nice small hotel in quiet neighbourghood. Large parking places. Bus stopin next street, though we walked to the city centre. Helpfull staff. Easy bus acces to Florence. This is a great hotel in a nice neighbourhood outside of Firenza. A nice walk into the city centre. Don't forget to reserve parking as it is limited. We enjoyed staing in the hotel. The walk to downtown Florence was not so interesting so it made it feel longer than it really was.the map was with wrong bus route from station to hotel. it is difficult to find hotel without bus direction and the name of bus stop which near from hotel. No. Due one-way streets man should have little patience finding the writeroute, if you're within navigation system. no lift. location of room in dependency was inconvenient and required 3 keys. lights went out when key removed from door. desk staff not helpful and english limited. location required bus to city center and difficult to purchase tickets and find route back to hotel. only 2 restaurants within walking distance, but Corte de' Bicci was friendly and very good. very thin walls - you could here everything!!. Car Parking charges very expensive. Could have provided more information on buses and how to catch them/use them. The reception staff was not very friendly, in particular the manager on duty when we asked about the possibility of cancelling our second night. Rooms looked dated, in particular the bathroom. It wasn't clean,the room was dirty,we asked for a non-smoking room and when we arrived it smelled like someone had smoked 1 hour before.I asked the receptionist that came with us if that room was a non-smoking room,he answered without blinking,yes.It was mold in the bathroom,the walls looked like it were about to fall.
