Location to train. Ten minutes. Walking distance to nearly everything which is convenient. Nice to go back to your room part way through the day to rest you're feet. Room was small but clean and met our needs. Room faced the street and there was a pub directly across which could get noisy. Go join the fun or use ear plugs. Both work. Noise never went too late. Staff were friendly, helpful and truly sincere in their efforts to make you welcome. I have spent a lot more money for bigger and nicer .

Bumping into my husband because the room was so small. As long as he stayed on his side we were fine unless you needed to get to the bathroom. Would like to have had coffee/tea in room. However with all fairness if you wanted it they would get it for you from the kitchen. Everything is perfect, but the hotel is on the 2nd floor with no elevator, so, be careful, it can be inappropriate for persons with disabilities. Breakfast to be improved. My room, closed to the entrance and in the reception area, was noisy. Room was small but fine for 1 person. There are quite a few stairs and with luggage it is hard. - AC couldn´t be regulatet, only by the front desk staff - police station nearby, so it was often loud during the night. I know Florence is expensive, but I think the price was too high. The hotel is in a second floor with no lift, which could be a problem in some cases or when you arrive late and tired.The breakfast is quite poor, not many things to choose and more importantly, it starts at 8.00, too late for a city where museums open at 8.15. However, they agreed in starting earlier because I had a train to catch. The air conditioning is regulated from the staff desk. That its on the second floor with lots of stairs if you have suitcases. The air conditioner is regulated by the front desk, you have to ask them to turn it on or off. It only runs with a high fan so very cold if you have on for a long time.
