One could not ask for a better location and parking was available. Very friendly and efficient. I would love to stay there again.very well located. Location.well situated hotel for the lake and town, very friendly staff, eally enjoyed our stay. The views across Lake Como and the position in the centre. Very comfortable room and lovely verandah.

Walkable to Como Lago station for slow trains to Milan or a longer walk (7 Euro taxi ride) to Como Centrale station for the express. Loads of great restaurants and shops nearby. The view and the staff. the view is fantastic. the view of the lake from our fifth floor balcony was perfect, the reason we chose this hotel. And nice choccies were left on pillow. Yum yum...Staff were very helpful with train times, suggestions on where to visit in Switzerland...they were very friendly. No complaints!. Excellent position for the lake and Old Town. Had room with balcony with good view of the lake. Room and food also a good standard. The view from the hotel room was excellent. Location is good, near the lake and ferry port, and also near the citycenter. Room is a bit small/cramped, but otherwise it's quite clean andthe bed is comfortable. I would only recommend based on the convenienceof location. Help at the reception by the femeinine staff was great in contrast to the male staff ( ndid not appear as much service minded ).After day 1 view from window was breathtaking. Lokation and view on the lake, daily restaurant. Friendly reception. Clean room. the breakfast beeing included was good. The location only. nothing.Wi fi would have been expensive in the rooms. There could have been mre information available about the area, things to do etc.Very noisy - even with shutters down the noise carried from the main road and piazza - needs double glazing. Also had very disturbed sleep from noisy room next door with a small party and small child up until 1am. Quality for the 4stars****. room service is not open after 10pm. The breakfast was poor and the bar was only average. decor tired in rooms and lobby and restaurant/bar , the view saves the day ! comment, the hotels location means they dont have to try and impress ! I guess !. Breakfast very busy on sunday, get down super early! Bed in room was pretty hard. The time that breakfast is served should be extended at least till 10:30. The hotel does not accept other currencies except Euro (I offered Swissfrancs). Does not accept debit card either. Did not bother to help withalternatives, except insisting on payment by credit card. Also the roomis a bit over-priced.1/ Male staff at reception:didn't appear as caring 2/ Breakfast area shoudl stay till 10:30 on week-end. First day room was not as promised but no refund was offered. Would like to know why? I had paid for a lake view but that was not the case. Another thing was the final day check out.The card machine did not work and the staff insisted we pay by cash which I did not have. This delayed us as we had to catch a flight. It was not a very good experience. Needs to be better for the grade of hotel it is.Poor breakfast - regarding the price. No Internet facilities. Loud room. the confort of the beds. Everything else especially when the guest is charged additional euro7.00 for bringing up a coffee to his / her room. I do not know where thehotel's 4 stars came from but, at best and only if located in theafrican jungle, it would deserve 3. The parking is in another hotel and takes forever, the dawn chorus of bins emptying is great from 6am, the restaurant not allowing a drink only. The whole saty was terrible, value for money is a joke. Breakfast staff were very rude and surly. Accounts charged incorrectly this problem has now been resolved by E.mail. it hasn`s concierge to give any information about area at least a map of area, and the one of reciptionist was rude , they charged me on mini bar but i didn`t use anything in minibar , no valet parking to take my car ,i don`t think that hotel four star , the elevator was very old and small to carry anythings .

From Milan Linate Airport:
- Follow directions towards Como-Chiasso on the A9 motorway.
- Exit at Como Sud.
- Follow the signs towards the town centre.
The distance is approximately 65 km and it takes 50 minutes to reach the hotel.

From Milan Malpensa Airport:
- Follow directions towards Milan on the A8 motorway.
- When you reach Cantalupo, join the A9 motorway towards Como–Chiasso.
- Exit at Como Sud.
- Then, as above.
The distance is approximately 60 km and it takes 40 minutes to get to the hotel.

From Lugano Agno Airport:
- Follow directions towards Lugano.
- Once in Lugano, follow signs for the A9 motorway Lugano-Milano.
- 200 metres after crossing the border, veer left towards Cernobbio/Lago.
- Follow signs to the town of Como.
The distance is approximately 35 km and it takes 30 minutes to get to the hotel.

From Orio al Serio Airport (Bergamo):
93 km by highway and 65 km with national roads.

By Train
From Germany and Switzerland: Como is the first station after the Swiss border. Most trains running to Milan and to other Italian destinations stop at the Como San Giovanni station. For travellers coming from other directions, Milan Centrale is an important crossroads. Once at the Milano Centrale station, connect to Como through trains running to Switzerland and Germany. From the San Giovanni station, you can reach the hotel either by taxi (in 5 minutes) or on foot (in 10/15 minutes, if travelling with light luggage).

From the Milan Malpensa Airport: take the Malpensa Express (Ferrovie Nord Milano). Get off at the Saronno station and look for the connection to Como Nord Lago station. The hotel is only 5 minutes from the station (direction Lung Lario Trieste).The total distance is approximately 60 km and it takes 60 minutes to get to the hotel.

From Milan Linate Airport: catch bus number 1 to Piazza San Babila. When there, look for the underground station (MM, Line 1, Red Line) and catch the train to Cadorna. Soon after leaving the underground, you will find the Milano Nord Cadorna station, where trains to Como Nord Lago run approximately every 60 minutes (30 minutes during rush hours).The total distance is approximately 65 km and it takes 90 minutes to get to the hotel.
