We liked the location of the Hotel and the wonderful scent of jasmine accompanied with birdsong all day; also we enjoyed the ringing of the bells that chimed the time from two local churches. The proprietors, Daniella and Tomasso were friendly and welcoming and spoke good English; they also helped with advice on places to visit around Lake Como. The two evening meals we had at the Hotel were delicious and we sat outside under the parasols, enjoying the scent of jasmine and the birdsong.... go.
all reviews » Very cosy place, close to the lake, just 5 minuttes walk down through narrow streets. Breakfast is very nice. Hotel has a live music each weekend in the restaurant. Very professional music, by the way. The host was the most friendly i have ever met. We got a flat tire in our rented car. He changed it himself with his friend for us , without even charging for extra work. Very warm feelings for this hotel. I loved everything about this place.....tomasso and danielle, the owners were warm, welcoming and we felt at home immediately. The place is modest but perfect in that it has everything you need. The breakfasts were fabulous and we took advantage of eating there everynight as the food was so delicious, fresh and reasonable. Thank you to both danielle and thomasso for a wonderful stay!! We will be back!. Staff was excellent, helpful in every way possible. Room was comfortable other than no A/c which made it difficult due to temperature until later in the evening. Excellent location, 10 minute walk to heart of town. Nothing fancy but very charming and a good value. Very nice and charming hotel, with an 'authentic' spirit. Excellent diner, with a nice choice of dishes merging tradition and modernity. The place is very close to Como and is well connected for boat trips on the lake. We will go back with great pleasure. Bathroom cramped with no space for bidet and hot water took ages to arrive. No light above basin. Location is not the address shown on the listing. We went up so many small streets before finding the hotel on the main street. Clearer details needed of location. Very limited parking. It would have been too noisy to sleep without earplugs.
