A very warm welcome from extremely kind and helpful hosts who spoke excellent English. The room decor was beautiful and elegant designed in true Italien style with high ceilings and incorporated a modern bathroom. Everything was very clean and comfortable great facilities of TV, tea and coffee, WIFI plus the use of a fridge in reception which you were encouraged to use and where cold drinks could be purchased. Situated centrally you could walk to all places of interest and we were directed to.

No other hotel or B&B compared- we went to Naples, Rome and Bari and this was bar far the cleanest, most comfortable place we stayed in. I can't believe how cheap it was for everything we got: gorgeous room, terrace, homemade breakfast everyday from the owners (they baked everyday) and incredible service. They called us to make sure we were okay getting there, they checked in with us daily, helped plan our trips and were jus. I had a great stay at BB Miglia. Cristian and Angelo are great hosts, they are very helpful and provide absolutely outstanding support for the guests.I am so happy that I booked this place instead of a 4 or 5 star hotel; the staff makes you feel like home - the place gives a gist of authentic Catania. There is a great good selection for breakfast, nice rooms, very nice and clean place. With this attitude I am sure that the place will have a bright future. I would be more than happy to return . If you go to beautiful Catania, then stay at XXmiglia! The B&B is placed in the heart of this beautiful city. The staff is very helpful and kind, and the rooms are clean and nice with aircondition. The morningbuffet is what you normally find at a 4/5 star hotel. In the hall there's a fridge where you can buy anything to drink, beer, wine, soda etc. to a low price. They treated us as extended family and took care of our every need and then some. The breakfasts were wonderful and the accommodations very nicely rehabilitated and clean. It was a wonderful surprise as all of sicily has been. It was also a great location for seeing Mt Etna and the environs. Great value!. My wife and I loved how hospitable the multilingual staff was. They are an example of Italian hospitality at its very finest. The rooms themselves are fantastically well decorated to be both modern and comfortable. The location is such that you could base your entire Sicilian vacation from there, with the bus station and the sea port less than ten minutes walking away. B&B Ventimiglia provides excellent value, rooms of traditional character with especially comfortable beds. The location is ideally situated between between the railway/bus terminals and the main attractions of the centre. They make a largely homemade breakfast each morning, are very accommodating, and helpful with local arrangements (car hire etc). The whole experience staying here was very, very good. Christian and Angelo made us very welcome,and they were incredibly helpful when we had some difficulty in organising a car in Rome. The room was wonderful as was the breakfast. It is within easy walking distance of the station. We stayed there two nights, two times. The second time we got a quadruple room for just the two of us, so great that we could come back! Very friendly and accomodating host. Good breakfast compaired to Italian standards :). Perfect! Very good staff, absolute new appartments and delicios breakfast! The staff is very nice and the rooms are comfortable. Ours had a stylish ceiling painting from approximately 1900. The location is walking distance from the sights of Catania. Location near main street, staff is the best, best breakfast on Sicily (we were in 8 different b&b's), rooms are fantastic, wifi in all rooms, we really had a great time. If you can't handle a few stairs you might not find the rooftop rooms, but there are rooms on a lower level for people who don't feel up to the walk. For those who don't mind the stairs, you are rewarded with skylights, a lovely kitchen, and a nice courtyard patio. The location on arrival is off putting, but once inside it was wonderful. Nothing. The neighborhood is tough. It's fine on the main streets, where the hotel is located, but the nearby small streets are run down and used by prostitutes. lack of a lift, particularly on my second visit, when l was in the attic apartment, but my host generously carried my heavy baggage for me. We were on the third floor, so it's a long climb up the stairs. Request for the 2nd floor. Wifi connection on 2nd floor was excellent, but not on the 3rd floor. we had to go through 5 locked gates/doors and up 77 steps to our room. we felt uncomfortable in the area outside after dark. Lots of stairs, they keep you in shape tough ;-). Not yet an elevator. Room was just by the breakfast room so woken at 7 - not a problem if you have earplugs. Area is not the best (near red light district) and did feel a bit uncomfortable coming back at night. If you walk the long way then it feels much safer. The steps, lots of them although the great staff carried my massive bag up and down 4 flights of stairs!!. Getting our bags up the stairs!. You need to be fit - 75 steps to the 5th floor - no lift. Nothing. Building is like a slam, smell from other neighbours cooking. Noisy.
