Michaele the owner was the loveliest host ever. His advice on where to eat, visit , ride and what to do in the area was amazing. He went out of his way to help and make you feel at home. The lounge area was perfect around the log fire, and Michaele's hospitality was first class. I have never seen such a clean and well maintained hotel. Breakfast was lovely and a huge choice. Bormio is a lovely town and lots to do and see in town and the surrounds. Cycling is amazing!! The day spa is a mu.
all reviews » In an 8 week tour of Europe we found the best welcome, care and attention to detail at this hotel, as well as the very best food. The hotel is a fantastic mix of English and Italian, and the dedication to the needs of the guests is rare to find these days -a true jewel to be highly recommended. Very welcoming and attentive owners. A comfortable and homely sitting area with adjacent bar. A good breakfast. A good location for exploring the surrounding area and countryside, and Bormio centre is only a 10 to 15 minute walk away. Staff was all extremely attentive and went out of their way to make sure we had anything we needed. Breakfast was ample and delicious. Location was a nice walk from town. Rooms were quite spacious. A simple, nice clean hotel tucked away inside the Bormio valley. No delays in check-in check-out. The people are really friendly and entertained all our requests with a smile. Superb location. Apart from sleeping and eating/drinking, there isn't much to do in the hotel. Breakfast could be more diversified.
